DES MOINES, IOWA: GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis sparked an outcry after claiming that he's "looking" into ways to block President Joe Biden from the 2024 primary ballot in Florida due to the "invasion of 8 million" at the southern border.

The 45-year-old Florida governor told reporters on Friday, January 5, during a campaign event in Iowa, that he believes attempts to keep former President Trump off the ballot are "wrong."

"I do think the US Supreme Court is going to have to take the case," he said, per Fox News, adding, "I do think they're going to have to rein this in because I just think if you look at it, it just becomes too different."

This is why I love DeSantis, and wish he stayed out and let MAGA crown him in 28.

“Not his decision to make”

The current Florida SoS was appointed by Governor DeSantis.......if he wants it to happen it will.

Just like when the left dared him to send illegals from Florida to blue states.......how’d that work out for ‘em?

There’s a very good reason, isn’t there, why DeSantis has never secured Florida’s elections.

Check out what’s still legal in Florida.

Governor Desantis still has a chance to join the Trump team cabinet if he can keep the personal insults about President Trump to a minimum from here on out.

Ron allowed for years and still allowing in his state the invasion, but now speaks against it, and we are supposed to think he’s so great?

Trump doesn’t need any more backstabbers, which Ron has shown himself to be.

DeSantis is trying to straddle all sides of the issue, once more.

“I’m considering taking Biden off the ballot in Florida in response to Colorado, Maine, et al.” but, “Why should I pull out of Colorado and penalize myself because of Trump’s legal problems?” but “I’m the man to fix election fraud”, but “Trump lost fair and square” but “Lawfare is a problem I take seriously” but “The J6 insurrection? Yes it was a dark day for the country”.

Triangulate and try to convince all sides that you agree with them. That’s the Establishment’s playbook, and DeSantis is following it to a T.

In December 2023, the Colorado Supreme Court barred Trump from appearing on the state ballot due to his role in the January 6, 2021, riots at the Capitol.

It appears to me that Joe Bidenskyyyy should be barred from being on the ballot because of the riot, invasion and insurrection he encouraged down on Mexico's Rio Grande River and garbage landfill. The damn place smells so bad that even the "endangered" Mexican moths won't fly over it to go back and forth to Mexico.

I love it.

This is why I like DeSantis.
He is the only one besides Trump who will hold a mirror up to these dirty player democrats by demonstration.

Everyone else in the “(R)” party sit around and collect their donations and join in the political raindeer games.
I’ve shut up about DeSantis during the primary campaign because some people think that praising DeSantis is anti-Trump. This guy is not cut from the rino cloth.

The only way to demostrat how shameful it is unilaterally removing a candidate from the ballot is by doing it to them!

If you like DeSantis’s position on an issue, just wait a day. It’ll change.

It’s hardball. DeSantis plays it. He’s elected. Most turn into squishes when they get elected. Disney brings in a lot of money. He called their bluff. You have to be prepared to lose and the GOP doesn’t go there even when we have the upper hand.

Harry Reid incarnate yew’re back at it! I thought yew had given up this farce line of attack. But nope, like Hunter and crack yew can’t give it up.

Are yew still posting the one about fiscal responsibility in Florida? That’s a another tale of yewrs that facts don’t support.

Yewr post has a more nuanced Trumpian insinuation this time than yewr norm. Yew’re getting better at it.

Agree 100%. Someone played to his ego. He could have sat on the sidelines cheering Trump on. To me, he now has the stench of McCain and Romney. He has a long way to go to rehabilitate his reputation.
