Top Republican pollster Frank Luntz and Ron DeSantis warned that the low GOP turnout in the Iowa caucuses is a red flag for the party and that if Donald Trump doesn't get 'new voters' then he will lose in the November election.
'Trump is going to have to show that he can get people who didn't vote for him in 2020, he's got to get new voters or he loses,' Luntz told DailyMail.com
'It's a warning sign for the party in November because the turnout was so abysmally low,' the Florida governor said on Friday. 'There's terrible enthusiasm right now.'
Trump's rallies and events are consistently standing room only.

Well who did they support?
----
So, you want the republican party to have desanctimonious, that can only win 20% of the support of republicans, to be the republican presidential candiate?
🤣
There is no bigger loser than Ron DeSanctus. He can count on the fact he will never be POTUS.
Fine let them because Joe Biden is their man then.
Considering it was -20 temperature, turnout was better than expected. Furthermore, if this clown is concerned, he should drop out of his pathetic campaign and work with Trump. I was a DeSantis supporter back in May, but every day, this guy proves he has no critical thinking skills, nor common sense.
Why does that read like a prayer by a TDS sufferer?
amen brother (or sister). I’m sick of trying to appease the middle, as if there’s some value in that. It’s their turn to move in a solid, rightward direction.
Did McCarthy whisper in Luntz ear last night to write a hit piece on the turnout during the Iowa caucus that occurred on a very cold evening?????
Creepy GOPe politicians and the clowns that follow them are disgusting human beings.
I understand the low turnout was weather related - frigid temps!
Apparently, DeSantis and Haley don’t bring out voters.
There are reports lots of people left early after the media called it for Trump. You may be right about the proportional delegates, but that’s not how alot of people think.
DeSanct can’t even attract Republicans much less non-Republicans
McC must have left Luntz in a lurch and now he’s lashing out because he’s a lover scorned.
Ron is the one who is going to lose
Lutz is a puntz—or you know what I mean.
Is he still Kevin McCarthy’s DC “roommate”?
He’s working on a third-party strategy—is it the “No Labels” gang, I think?—to try to bring Trump down this fall.
Trump received more votes that any other candidate in the history of the Iowa caucuses.
His margin over the 2nd place winner was 30% - another record - more than double Bob Dole’s 12% margin win.
He won 98 out of 99 counties - he lost by ONE VOTE in Johnson county - home of University of Iowa, Iowa City.
Face it. People said from the very beginning when DeSantis was going to run that the guy was a terrible camaigner and had a terrible personality.
The more 99 counties in Iowa saw the guy, the more he turned them off.
I bet that Iowa Governor is licking her wounds now for supporting this nincompoop.
Maybe for you, Ron.
So let's see, Trump has personally endorsed Mitt Romney (twice), Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Kevin McCarthy, etc, and regularly has Lindsey Graham speak at his campaign rallies. Since these are the types of people Trump has endorsed and helped get elected to office, what does that make Trump? Sorry but it was hard to follow exactly what you were saying with all the pejoratives in there at once.
