Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis didn’t save the Republican Party after all, or America for that matter.
Two days before the New Hampshire primary election, DeSantis suspended his campaign for president on Sunday.
As he exited, he endorsed former President Donald J. Trump. Of course, he had no choice. The Florida governor tried to sell voters the idea that he’s just like Trump, but more electable, more reasonable — but also more conservative. That didn’t work because, in the end, DeSantis’ brand wouldn’t exist without MAGA.

Marxist whores speak at the Miami Herald. Make no mistake they never endorsed him in any Florida elections.
This is exactly why RDS never took off.
He was supposed to stop Trump. His people never made the case, and neither did RDS, of why, exactly, he should be President.
Evidently they whispered into his ear, likely just before the 2022 midterms, that Trump was going to end up in jail and not able to run in 2024. DeSantis got delusions of grandeur and ran his campaign on that basis.
Basically DeSantis was banking on the fact that lawfare would knock Trump out of the campaign early, leaving the road open to him. When that didn't happen, DeSantis realized that he was going to get utterly crushed by Trump in the primaries.
In my opinion, that is the best way to save the Republican Party.
Maybe next time.

I don’t think RDS has ever been MAGA.
His issues were given to him by the “donor community”, who care not at all about trannies, drag queens, LGBT or Disney. It was a very clever plan.
But Trump’s voters are not as stupid as the donor community imagines.
Now if only Nikki Haley could drop out next.

So who are RDS’ handlers? Trump has the GOP base. Trump’s challengers are the fringe candidates.
Trump has more experience and success fighting frivolous law suits than any American alive. Watch him these miserable party hacks nobody AG’s fail to jail Trump before nomination and most likely even before November election.
