Former President Trump said in a Sunday interview that he expected to see “some changes” at the Republican National Committee (RNC), when asked about its chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
“Sunday Morning Futures” anchor Maria Bartiromo asked Trump in an interview in Florida about Democrats having outraised Republicans to which Trump responded: “I have a lot of money.”

I think Trump is aware that many conservatives (like me) are withholding contributions to the RNC so long as the incompetent Ronna McRINO remains as its chair.

For sure. I saw a recent picture of Scott with DJT at MAL and I’m REALLY hoping they were strategizing. Not sure how the change over could happen but it needs to happen asap. I read he knows pretty much every voting rule in every state

It's been obvious to Trump that the RNC is hostile to him and that he was going to boycott the debates and run against the GOP Establishment as an ironic outsider in 2024.
When Trump endorsed her because he did not want to on the losing side of a leadership fight and he knew it was going to be the job of the head of the RNC to nominate a non Trump candidate.
And he knew Ronna was VERY unpopular with the GOP rank and file so any money would be going directly to him and not the RNC.
Ronna is disloyal to Trump, ineffective, incompetent, grasping and lazy so she has totally screwed the pooch in the RNC’s back stabbing Operation Ditch Trump.
So by supporting Ronna, he avoided a premature publicly open food fight with the GOP while he was still relatively weak while at the same time crippling the rest of the GOP Presidential wannabes with the albatross of Ronna’s incompetent RNC leadership.
Now that Trump has crushed the competition and is the de facto Republican Party nominee, expect him to want a RNC head who is loyal to him , competent and effective.
And all the fund raising money that has been withheld by Trump supporters from The RNC and would have been wasted is now about to be freed up.
That person is probably not Ronna
He is now in a position to dictate terms to the RNC.
This game is played by people operating at many different levels and one thing that has been obvious to me for a long time is that Trump is a master of both the direct and indirect approach and that he consistently works problems on several levels higher that the opposition. Sometimes it backfires on him but not that often.

Ronna has lasted longer than most Trump appointees.
Yes, technically she’s elected by the members of the RNC. But the members traditionally defer to the wishes of an incumbent Republican president. If a Republicans is not in the White House, the RNC traditionally maintains its neutrality through the primary season and then turns over the keys to the Republican nominee’s team. The chairmanship may not change, but the nominee’s team will be calling the shots.
Ronna would not be there if Trump hadn’t wanted her.
In 2016 and 2020, the RNC did all the financial heavy lifting for the Trump campaign. Trump has never paid the slightest attention to party building. He likes to have big rallies and tweet. He leaves everything else to the state and national party organizations. He did not self-finance in 2016 and 2020. The voter registration, GOTV, most of the advertising and issue advocacy were done by the regular party apparatus and the traditional major donor network. Trump brought very little to the table except his persona. He seems to think that is enough.

Has Ronna McRomeny ever stated she will be ensuring no fraud or problems with Dominion machines, back in 2018,2020, 2022, or even this upcoming 2024?
