Seattle-area bar association apologizes after publishing screed calling for genocide of Jews

A Seattle area bar association is apologizing after publishing an article calling for a genocide of Jews in its newsletter.

The King County Bar Association Board of Trustees apologized after printing an article from one of its members and former director, Dua Abudiab, entitled From The River To The Sea, a phrase that calls for the destruction of Israel and the ethnic cleansing of its residents.

Abudiab’s antisemitic screed was printed on the front page of the King County Bar Bulletin above the fold.

Abudiab equated claims of "white nationalism" occupying North America to justify Palestinian claims to Israel despite Jews being indigenous to the land.

She falsely claims a "genocide in Gaza...uncontestable is that we are reliving a disgrace because our tax dollars are funding it" alleging America is "actively shadow banning, censoring, & SILENCING its citizens" despite allowing pro-Hamas activists being allowed to regularly take over streets, bridges and freeways in Washington.

She also wrote, "A Call for Liberation...From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," a call for genocide & the destruction of the Jewish state, claiming it is "a call against occupation, a call to reclaim our history, and a call for liberation."

Before long, at the rate we are going, the Seattle Bar will be disbarring attorneys if they are Jewish or if they represent a Jewish client.

Yes, they are apologizing now but someone made the decision to not only publish the article but also to place it front and center in their newsletter.
