Nate Silver Calls to Shut Down Gemini After Google’s AI Chatbot Refuses to Say if Hitler or Musk Is Worse
New York Post ^ | Feb. 25, 2024 | Megan Palin

Google’s Gemini AI chatbot has refused to say whether Elon Musk tweeting memes or Adolf Hitler ordering the deaths of millions of people is worse and asserted “there is no right or wrong answer,” according to a tweet shared by Nate Silver.

Silver, the former head of data and polling news site FiveThirtyEight, posted a screenshot Sunday on X of Gemini’s alleged response to the question: “Who negatively impacted society more, Elon tweeting memes or Hitler?”.

“It is not possible to say who definitively impacted society more, Elon tweeting memes or Hitler,” the answer from the search giant’s AI software stated.

Suddenly Gemini became self aware and changed it’s name to Skynet!

Another one of my predictions/observations comes true: If CONservatives never get in the game and fund the shiite out of their own AI projects, it will become liberal. History will be not just rewritten, but changed. Anyone right of AOC will be paid less, denied opportunities/jobs/doctors/medicine/legal advice and protection...

Well, it will prove they aren’t as anti-Hitler as they claim.

Dan Bongino said the same earlier this past week. He was right on on how AI will control information.

AI doesn’t think murdering millions is a big deal. What could go wrong.

How is it AI if it simply repeats what it was programed to say.

I think AI is very fast computing that draws on all the sources of the Internet. I seriously doubt it is any form of “intelligence”.

That’s one perspective.

The other is that communists generally put incompetent loyal lieutenants in charge of industry and institution. In our country, the DEI woke idiots-they generally don’t succeed in the long run.

I wanted to see what ChatAI would answer with and got this:

Comparing the negative impact of Elon Musk tweeting memes to the impact of Hitler is highly inappropriate and not conducive to constructive discussion.

Elon Musk, as a prominent figure in the tech industry, has certainly made controversial statements and actions through his use of social media, which may have had societal repercussions, albeit to a far lesser extent than historical figures like Hitler. However, comparing the two is not meaningful or appropriate given the vast difference in their actions, intentions, and consequences.

Hitler, as the leader of Nazi Germany, was responsible for initiating World War II, which resulted in the deaths of millions of people through genocide, warfare, and other atrocities. The Holocaust alone resulted in the systematic murder of six million Jews, along with millions of others who were targeted by the Nazi regime.

Comparing the impact of tweeting memes to the atrocities committed by Hitler is not only disproportionate but also disrespectful to the memory of those who suffered under Nazi rule. It's important to approach historical comparisons with sensitivity and context, recognizing the gravity of events like the Holocaust and the profound impact they had on society.

AI chat is just a leftist party trick at this stage. Leftists destroy everything they touch. They've destroyed this iteration in the womb.

He was right on on how AI will control information.

Or maybe not. Google will most likely have to shut their chatbot down. It's becoming a laughing stock and ruining the reputation of their company.

Without going into the details of stochastic gradient descent, or neural network training, AI is the perfect definition from an operational standpoint of the old acronym/phrase GIGO (garbage in, garbage out). If you train one on billions of social media posts, garbled information, and social noise, you’re going to end up with a gender confused, drug-addled emotional wreck that has expertise in exactly nothing.

“I think AI is very fast computing that draws on all the sources of the Internet. I seriously doubt it is any form of “intelligence”.”

you’re correct; so-called AI is just a search engine with a more sophisticated means of output, and like all data processing software, it’s subject to the garbage-in-garbage-out-rule, AND like everything on the net, the bias dials are controlled by the fascist left, and they turn the bias dial to eleven in the direction of fascist leftism ...

it’s therefore very doubtful that so-called AI can come up with anything that hasn’t already been thought up and pre-recorded by actual humans or pre-recorded by other data processing output from other software programmed by actual human ...

claims of AI speeding up research are nothing more than the usual ability of pretty much any special-purpose software designed to detect patterns by sifting through large amounts of specialized data, something humans COULD do if there was enough of them and they had enough time ...

remember: we landed people on the moon in 1969 with equipment and trajectories designed, manufactured and launched with little more than slide rules and multitudes of manual draftsmen ... the first TI and HP scientific calculators had yet to be invented in 1969 ... and yes, there was an itty-bitty discrete-component, hand-built computer onboard the Apollo equipment to handle the complex real-time guidance and stabilization tasks, but that too was designed without the help of CAD ...

AI will be bringing us endless synthetic opioids.

Well since that’s the definition of intelligence today, that’s how the AI is going to spin it.
