Two representatives appointed to a committee considering paying reparations claimed whites were responsible for climate change, slammed Israel and pushed to defund the police.
Ron Daniels and Lurie Daniel Favors — both appointed to New York’s commission on reparations and racial justice by state Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie (D-Bronx) — made several fiery statements including Daniels slamming black US Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) as “Uncle Tim,” according to a review of their public statements.
“White Folks Messed Up the Weather = Black Folks Save the Planet,” Daniels, a longtime activist who ran for president on the Peace and Freedom Party in 1992, said in an Oct. 25, 2021, posting on X.

If “Global Warming/Climate Change” is a real thing then Whitey, or more specifically European and Euro-derived white people are, indeed, the cause. White Europoids made the Industrial Revolution and are responsible for the advanced economies everywhere and almost all economic advances from he Renaissance on. Were it not for that group the rise from medieval would have been centuries slower if at all. Parliaments and real legislatures and limited monarchs are also a byproduct of Western Civilization which is a Europoid phenomenon. Even Chinese Economic modernation is derivative of Western Civ.

I see in the photo eyeglasses, plastics, machine-woven clothing, hair treatment with petroleum-derived chemicals, printed books, all evil Western inventions, as is of course the photo itself. These two seriously need to purify themselves.
Okay. Maybe we’re responsible for climate change. But can we at least get credit for electricity, the automobile, the light bulb, air conditioning, the vacuum cleaner, aviation, and advances in medicine?
So let’s imagine one thing: Suppose upon discovering the black left in 1619 were returned to their home country and then the US passed a law prohibiting any Africans from emigrating to the US. Would the country be better off after that? For one there would be 1.5 million lives save by not fighting the civil war. That’s not what I would wish for as there are many people of color that have donned military or police uniforms and put their lives on the line trying to make this country even better that it was. There are many people, both white and of color, that have entered the country legally and gave up any allegiance to their old country (that’s how my grandparents referred to the country they came from and became US citizens).
