This is illegal. You have to give to all low income people. Anything else is discrimination.

No strings attached…
The strings are attached to a taxpayer.

Right. What ever happened to waiting until you could support a family before you HAVE one??

Remember when President Johnson declared war on poverty back in the 1960s?
We are 60 years into that war on poverty.
Are we trying to say all the trillions of dollars spent on anti-poverty programs just weren’t enough , and that if we just spend a little bit more such as this program, that will cure poverty?
To: yesthatjallen
Michelle Callejas, the director of child, family, and adult services for the county, spoke at the county board of supervisors meeting on Tuesday. She said the guaranteed-income program was just one piece of a six-step plan to eliminate child poverty. It will take more than six, in fact it will take an infinite number of steps, because this will never eliminate poverty.

That won’t begin to pay for beer, take-out and smokes for a family of four

Doesn’t matter when Dems are doing it.

“United Way is still tracking the results of that program . . .”
The program has been a huge success! United Way reports that, so far, no one has refused to accept the free money.

Can cities do a White’s only program or would that be unconstitutional?

1/16 Catawba Indian here. I want my share!!! Oh, and my dirt-poor ancestors fought for the Union, freeing black slaves. Any credit for that? Jeezziss.... The idiocy... it hurts.
