I recently bought an ICE vehicle. Knowing this was coming was part of the reason why. I think you’re going to see significant premiums added to stickers, soon.

Oh goody. This nust mean that all the government vehicles will now be EVs, all limos for elites will be EVs and all government jet planes and private jets will be traded in for EV aircraft including AF1.
Be prepared to keep your ICE vehicle running for decades ... America to look like Cuba.

Everyone should understand fully that under the current federal regime, fascism is the form of government in the United States.

Just buy or keep older cars and fix them up, as these refs won’t apply to them. Until we can get a sane administration, we’re going to have to act like the Cubans did for several decades under Castro, which is to use and repair whatever we have in hand. They were driving US cars of 1950s vintage well into the 1990s.
The depths of my hatred and contempt for this administration cannot be measured. If they were foreigners, imposing all of these rules and regulations on us, I would consider them to be outrageously tyrannical. The fact that they are our own people means that the cumulative effects of all of these policies is nothing less than treason… and we all know what the penalty for that should be.

Bingo on that. I bought a 2018 Toyota truck and plan to keep it until it dies or I die. I also have a couple of 50 year old VW beetles as backup vehicles. I have a lot of experience keeping the old bugs on the road. And parts are readily available.
Fear not the Biden administration will be dissolved soon things will get back to productive normal.
