What they are really doing is closing 1,000 stations (that would be on average 20 per state) that are in crime infested, dangerous locations.

A perfect guise to do this without upsetting but appeasing the deep state.

Oil executives know more than anyone that EV’s are a scam.

Brilliant move on their part.

Not morons, they are reading the hand out possibility and will play it for all they can get. Assuming gas consumption drops, they have excess gas stations. Ever try to sell one? Impossible due to the potential ground contamination. BUT, if the butthead in DC begins offering dollars for stations turn overs, well, you see the benefits: $$$$$$$$$

Imagine....charging for a minimum of 30 minutes, likely longer in 20 degree weather with a 20mph wind, with the added bonus of being a sitting duck for robbery or a carjack, assuming the criminal would want one.

And the damn things don’t charge well, hold a charge or perform well in frigid weather. Or in summer heat weather.

The vast majority of EV owners are virtual signaling elites who live in nice neighborhoods. They might not have to worry as much about graffiti, vandalism, or customer muggings/carjackings.

If Shell is not completely stupid, they will run these EV stations like they run their gas stations, i.e. have someone on staff selling coffee, snacks, etc.

If they run these like most current EV stations, that is unattended, then they will just be great places for meth addicts to acquire copper.

we need to stop buying Shell gas to let the know what it is going to feel like losing money... even thought the government will give them a pile just to stop selling gas

Shell’s been bought off.

It’s evil, not stupid.

That’s funny. Somewhere at Shell there is an executive who embraces climate nonsense.

No doubt the government is behind this.

The DS/globalists are hell bent on forcing this onto all of us whether we like it or not and whether it’s to our benefit or not.

They will, of course, exempt themselves and allow themselves the privileges they plan on denying us, like freedom of speech, gun rights, real food, gas powered anything they want, freedom to travel as they please, where they want, to start with.....

And there need to be no hurricanes or other reasons to evacuate, no heavy snowfall. Both situations strand EV motorists just like everyone else. But once the charge is gone there is no way to charge & move those vehicles.

Right. On top of that, they’re probably not even closing the stations, but will most likely sell them off.

As for EV stations... the only thing I can figure is that they may try and corner the market near high-volume night-life locations: restaurants, theaters, sporting venues, malls, and the like. As was mentioned elsewhere, they’d need to be located in areas where people might spend a couple of hours eating, shopping, etc.
