PALM SUNDAY

Matthew 21.1 - 11

1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

You should have passed on the nap so you’d be able to go to sleep easier tonight. Your alarm is going to be in danger tomorrow morning. LOL

It a beautiful day here. Cooler than yesterday and would have felt great outside if not for a stiff wind. I did crack the laundry room window open for a little while since yesterday’s rain tamped the pollen down.

I started to stay up, but I just couldn’t resist. I’ll take a melatonin and hope for the best. Pray for my phone alarm. LOL!

I’m so glad that the rain washed the pollen out of the air so you could breathe fresh air. That’s always a good thing. It was very windy here, too, and will be again tomorrow. Yuk! No sand, though. The rain helped US that way.

The air wasn’t completely pollen-free but it wasn’t too bad today. I’m still blowing my nose a little more than usual tonight but it’s worth it.

All this wind is from the cold front moving across the country right now and will blow harder as the front closes in. You’re a day or so ahead of me.
I’m never going to get all the tree trash picked up around here because these winds blow more out of the trees. I keep going back to areas I’ve cleaned up to pick more after the fronts. Never-ending. LOL

Success on most of my errands...especially my phone.

And lots of little things fell into to place to get that done.

Not too much mail at work, but impossible to find parking at Costco. I’ll try again Thursday.

Lots of work work tomorrow, but working on taxes now.

Glad your mission was successful.

Might as well just leave it there till wind season is done. Should be before long. Then it’s clean up season and then mowing season. Never ending work stuff. Bah humbug!

Since our mulberries lost their fuzzies, my allergies sort of backed off. Till today that is. The wind kicked something off. It was from the east. Maybe some cotton fields farther east of us.

Yay on your success with the phone! ‘Bout time you were able to get that done. I know you’re a happy camper now.

Bummer about not getting to Costco. Saturdays are bad for parking because so many people are off from work.

Ohboy! Taxes. I know you’re having fun with that. LOL Good luck!

Happy Palm Sundayand ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

Yesterday at Comanche Lake:

We also had ribs for supper.

We'll see how things go today. It's supposed to be windy with storms later today.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Wind season won’t be over for a while and I really need to mow now. Unbelievable how tall the grass is already.
Clean-up season is pretty much year-round. Any time fronts come through, we get wind and some tree trash gets blown out. It’s just bad now because I didn’t pick stuff up during winter.

I don’t think cotton would be bothering you right now. There shouldn’t be any in the fields this time of year. It’s just now planting season. There’s plenty of other pollen to the east that could get picked up by the winds though.

Yeah, all the crud that they’re plowing under before planting. LOL!

Well, I’d better finish this show and head out or I’ll regret it in the morning. In fact, I already am. 😂 See ya tomorrow!

I was thinking more in line of trees off to the east. Pollen carries a loooooong way when the wind blows hard.
But yeah, plowing kicks up dust and other funk too.

Dusty’s been here recently to spray the fields with weed killer. It won’t be long before they come back to plow. My prayer is that’s ALL that’s done and no poop will be spread this year. LOL

Good luck with sleeping tonight. Be kind to that alarm in the morning!

Trees? What trees? LOL! We have mesquites...bushes...but I’m not sure they are pollinating yet. They are the last trees to leaf out, and they tell Texans that it really is finally spring.

The alarm survived! :)

I’m talking about a lot farther east.
If dust from the Sahara can be blown across the Atlantic to settle here, you can get pollen from east TX.

We have new bugs, and some new plant life, courtesy of hurricanes Katrina and Rita when they came across TN. Both were still Cat. 1s when they got here.

Mother Nature shuffles stuff around all the time.

Yay for your alarm! LOL
