Representative Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) said Thursday on CNN’s “The Lead” that the Supreme Court acted like “partisan hacks” during the oral arguments on Donald Trump’s claim that he is immune from prosecution.
Host Jake Tapper said, “Justices signaled today that they were skeptical of Trump’s claim that he had complete immunity for anything he did that was an official act. But they also pushed back on how the special counsel framed the case. How likely do you think it is that the court’s going to try to reach a middle ground ruling that might push this trial beyond November’s election, or that they might kick it back to the lower court that will also prolong all of this?”

If the president doesn’t have immunity for his official acts then I’m sure the families of those members were killed because Biden chose not to enforce our border laws.

Yes, the Dem judges did look like partisan hacks. But, then again, they are partisan hacks that have given up on the charade that their opinions are based on their politics and not their elementary understanding of the law

Watching it now...none of the conservative justices threw any softballs at President Trump’s counsel. Including Justice Thomas right off the bat.
It was a fair hearing in which both counsels were made to work for their respective positions. I guess that’s why Lofgren believes they were “partisan hacks” - it wasn’t a hearing that sounded like watching The View.
There’s that little thing of Obama using Hellfires on US citizens. If Trump isn’t immune, we have to check out all of the other presidents.
