Presidential candidate Donald Trump jokingly predicted that his opponent, President Joe Biden, would be so “jacked up” before their anticipated debate that he might request a drug test.
Biden announced that he would participate in two debates against Trump hosted by CNN and ABC News. Trump offered some predictions surrounding the debate during the Minnesota Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Reagan Dinner.
“He’s going to be so jacked up for those, you watch,” Trump said of the debates. Later, he suggested he would “demand a drug test” before the two got on the debate stage. Speaking to attendees of the National Rifle Association Annual Meetings and Exhibits on Saturday, the former president said his successor was “high as a kite” during this year’s State of the Union address.
The president announced he would not participate in the debates scheduled by the Commission on Presidential Debates and instead agreed to two debates on June 27 and Sept. 10. Before the announcement, Biden’s campaign chairwoman, Jen O’Malley Dillon, reportedly penned a letter listing gripes with the timing of the debates, among them noting that it was too late in the election year to hold debates. As a result, the commission issued its response at the beginning of this month.
“The CPD purposefully chose September 16 after a comprehensive study of early voting rules in every state,” a CPD spokesperson wrote in a statement. “In-person early voting in North Carolina does not begin until October 17. On September 16, the day of the first debate, Pennsylvania voters can receive, complete and return ballots at their county boards of elections. Every other state starts early voting later, as of the most recently published information.”

The same firm will provide the drug test results as did the 2020 election tallies.
It’ll be meaningless anyway.
"I took a drug test before the debate. You did not. Will you take one afterwards?"
Much like who counts the votes would be who would “test” the sample.
Biden: "A test? I don't need no test, I score higher than anyone on tests! Did I mention I was a U-boat commander, and scored more hits than anyone else in the big war? Come on, man!"
As Joe Biden would say, “Not A Joke” !
“Jokingly”.....I thing he was pretty serious and I would be too.
He wasn’t joking. Asking Joey for a drug test is Trump brilliance on display. What does Joey do?
If he ignores it more people will believe more bad stuff about Joey.
If he refuses people will eagerly watch the compilations of Joey shaking hands with no one and almost walking off the edge of a stage and they will laugh at Joey which is the worst thing that can happen to a candidate.
Ask for the test immediately AFTER the debate, not before.
Ask for multiply split samples, and divide your half among red state labs.
President Retard is too senile to test
With no Presidential Commission in the way, he can suggest or require anything he wants. So can Biden. Both risk political fallout if they push things too far.
Agreeing to a debate with a political party that wants to destroy you.. Standing before the unfriendly media, and debating a dementia patient who lies and is apt to say anything.
NO!!!
How many Presidential elections have YOU won?
Trump should come out with a porta-potty on stage.
Here you go Joe. Never used, just for you.
Don’t be a smart ####.
You dont know me.. Why throw your ability to be rude at my comment.
You didn’t answer the question. You seem to know everything.
I am an 85 yr old grandmother who knows not to treat anyone you don’t know, with your uncalled for sarcasm. Rude is your way of showing who you are.. Not a good advertisement.. You have appointed yourself to be the controller of opinion..
You say whatever you want, and I will do the same.
Seems fair to me.
