Bcoffey, can you give us more info as to where this community is?

I get off the Beltway at New Hampshire Ave and go a little north from there. I don't know much about the community. My business is with the Army Research Laboratory on Powder Mill Road.

What amazes me is the FBI is still plugging away on the Hoffa case...

(All they know is that the home was being renovated and they came accross this body in cement.)

This seems like an old crime to me.

Jeese, some of you people need to calm down.

First off, this was during a renovation, sounds to me like the concrete must have been more than a few months old, but maybe not.

Secondly, I know what you guys mean when you say this, but saying you hope that its Chandra is rather unseemly. My greatest hope is that they find her wandering around somewhere with amnesia or something.

PG County is not an area known for care being taken in the disposal of bodies. (Not to be mistaken for a lack of murder...) Usually, they're just dumped in some vacant lot or left lying where they were killed.

At this point, expecting Chandra to be found wandering around somewhere is not logical.

Teacup...I searched for the places that Chandra was looking up: this is the link to Mapquest...I put in "Rock Creek Park" to Adelphi, MD. Take a look....

Rock Creek Park to Adelphi, MD

It's not that far. I will do another search for Klingle Mansion.

A note to all "would be" flamers: I am not saying that this is Chandra, or that these are the places she was going...I am merely giving out information I researched. ;-)

I have a condo in Bowie, MD in Prince Georges County. Prince Georges County is the county where it borders part of DC, Anapolis, MD (Anarandos county) borders Prince Georges on the east side.

Hope that helps

It's not far. I don't know if it is new concret or old. This is what I heard and what Kristin found on this story. Still, very interesting.

LOL....well, I guess everyone had the same idea I did....at least we'll all know how to get to Adelphi, MD. ;-)

Seriously....there are some things here we have to keep in mind. First of all, we need to know if this was old concrete. If it was, we can rule out Chandra Levy. However, this is also another scenario: Chandra was murdered and buried here. They poured concrete. End of story, right? WRONG. The concrete cracks, the homeowner has a fit, and they start over again. This is how they've discovered a body there.

Just two possibilities out of a hundred. ;-)

I don't know? But how would a home owner not know they had a body in concret in there home? Unless the home is vacant and construction is going on?

This is almost certainly OLD cement, and an OLD crime.

I wish they would find CHandra, but this isn't her.

If this was Chandra and Condit was involved I'll bet he'd be sweating bullets about now.

Eating one, more likely.
