Don't forget the significance of dates! Today is...
Thanks for asking; however, I actually posted that message at about 12:30 p.m. on 911. FreeRepublic's time is set for, Pacific Time.
The attack happened during my class in Unix/Linux - so everyone in the class used the computers to fly from one "crashed" news site to another - trying to find out what was happening. We were not really thinking...we were all in shock.
When I got home, my husband called me and he shouted, "TODAY IS 911, 911! Those [fill in the blank] have created one hell of an emergency."
Because of my shock and total disbelief - I had not thought of the date until my husband said something...so I ran to the computer to make that post about the date. A date we will never forget.

The sentences in bold below may give us the clue as to the significance of September 11. Note that there is also a 22 in the date.
