Lord, give me the right words when the time is appropriate.

I agree with you that we as Christians should humble ourselves and pray, seeking God's face, asking His forgiveness and mercy, both individually and as the body of Christ, and that we should forgive people who do evil things against us personally. It's just that I don't think that we have power to forgive sins that were committed against other people. Only the victims themselves, if they are able, whose blood cries out from beneath the rubble, and God Himself can do that.
Cordially,

It is time for Christianity to reach out to our black population who are so susceptable to the persuasion used by Muslims to convert.News Flash!!
- American Black folks are already generally Christian and have embraced Christianity since being brought here as slaves. Those who convert to Islam have typically tried Christianity and found it wanting for a list of reasons. Now if you want to encourage them to give Christianity another chance go ahead but don't come in assuming they have no exposure to it, especially if they are over 30.

Re:52 I understand what you're saying. But what if the Muslims are right? What would you say?
Note to self: I haven't heard much from Allah's folks protesting the death of 6000+ "infadels". What a coincidence.

Yes you are, the same thing we are all missing. Some sign of intelligent life... Knock it off!

Agreed. The call to personal repentance in no way obviates our obligations to the innocent victims of September 11, much less to prevent the victimhood of those whom the murderers would target next.

But this is a perfect time for us to be thinking about forgiveness of our own offenses. Now that we know first hand just how hard it is to forgive a treacherous and malicious enemy, we're in a better position to discover a spirit of repentence and decent humility, and a true appreciation of the mercy of God who stands ready to forgive what we've done to Him. I suspect this is the only way we'll ever achieve the extraordinary grace we'll need to forgive what was done to us on September 11. But you are assuming that what they did to us is a result of what we did to them. It doesn't NECESSARILY follow. They hate us and want to destroy us because we are infadels, and no other reason. We could make nice-nice to them forever, but they'd still want to kill our women and children. Get it?

Maybe these liberals will offer up one of their loved ones to the terrorists? I don't believe they want something like this to affect their lives.
The liberals are the reason we're in this mess.

To: IceGirl2 Why are you being both racist and blocking groups of people of one religion, while saying it is not of America? America is not a Christian Nation, we left England for demands on our religious freedoms. Maybe over the years you have forgotten that we are a Country of not only freedom, but religious freedom. I don't want terrorists, but I don;t demands on how I believe in God either because it may not jive with yours. Muslim men do now have 4 wives serendipitiously, nor is it a tenet of thei religion, and especially not in the manner you portray. If we are going to choose bigamy to pick on, let's start with Utah, and I doubt there are many Muslims there. Your coments are more scary then the Muslims in this Country. You are a terrosist in your own right.

"We must help President Bush wage total war on world terrorism and marginalize those misguided souls who chant for "Peace at any Price." Our biggest challenge will be safe-guarding our God given, Constitutionally protected civil liberties. Well said. We must also marginalize those misguided souls who chant for "safety and security at any price," who foolishly believe that by stripping law-abiding citizens of Constitutionally protected civil liberties the deeds of evil men can be held in check." I am not going to give up my civil liberites and rights unless they infringe on National Security, which does not include negative comments about others beliefs, just because we have someone attacking us. I want those attacking us to be brought to justice, but I am not going to become a barbarian to get that justice - I still believe in our Constitutoin and a Free Society. Rememebr Americans are made up of a many differnt people.

There have always been -- and always will be -- those who take refuge in our freedoms while openly belitting those who defend them.

An effective answer to the problem of terrorism against the US that has not been tried to this point is an expansion of the Clinton doctrine of not dealing with sleezy criminals to forward national interests. Excuse me?
