Yep. Back in the olden days I was suspicious of Dales because he suddenly showed up with facts, figures, and logic. Yet he had registered as a member a couple of years earlier. Who the hell was this guy??

We've all since come to know Dales, better known as Hugh Akston, and respect him as one of the premier minds here at FR. This original article is yet another example of his fine work and why FR attracts the best and brightest to share their thoughts.

I guess by plundering and theft he means purchase of petroleum. Petroleum is only considered to be wealth because it is worth something, and it is worth something only because there is a use for it, and there is a use for it only because of Western technology and economies of scale. Hmmm, let's see, if the world's largest and most productive economy no longer purchases all that petroleum "wealth", what is Osama and his buds going to do with it? Oil wrestling? The degree to which we and others can do without oil from Muslim-controlled nations is the degree to which their petroleum will lose value.
