The "war" will be won or lost contingent upon whether the PC idiots REALLY ARE that stupid and short-sighted, or if they can shake off the blinders and see what's going on. One more attack on American soil should crystalize the true nature of our national psyche. IMO. Anyone who's still chanting PC mantras, at that point, is beyond hope. We can only hope their numbers will be diminished to the point of irrelevance.

It is reported that we are ready to roll:

http://www.observer.co.uk/international/story/0,6903,560772,00.html

However, the moderate, "Taliban/Bin-Laden" only strategy of Secretary Powell seems to have won out over the Hawks.

We will lose this struggle unless we face the fact that a huge percentage of the Arab world wants to obliterate Western values. We are doomed if we don't soon see that radical islamism is as virulent a threat today as Communism was in our Cold War with the Soviets (and as Communism in mainland China today).

I knew we were in trouble when there was no mention of any possibility of throwing Arab students out of the U.S. And don't tell me it's the same as Korematsu. First of all, it is non-citizen muslims who are the problem, and it is they who should go. Second, the Americans of Japanese descent who were interned NEVER blew anything up, and certainly never planned to blow up the WTC, Pentagon, White House, Capital, and whatever else escaped by virtue of President Bush grounding all civilian aircraft on Sept. 11.

I live in a town with an University which has many Arab students. Sure, some of them are not terrorists, but if even one of them is, how is his right to be here studying superior to my right as a citizen to sleep safe and sound in my own country?

"If America is to have any chance of prevailing in this war - which is not only a military conflict, but a cultural and spiritual one as well - we in the Free World have to come to grips with Islam. But to do so, we first have to come to grips with ourselves. We must become virtuous. We must become courageous. We must become self-disciplined, mature and uncompromisingly honest. And we must throw political correctness onto "the unmarked grave" of history. If we do, we can address with a clear head and a pure heart the spiritual warfare in which, ready or not, we are now engaged.

"For the truth is, there is no clean distinction between "good Islam" on one side and "bad Islam" on the other. There is, rather, a continuum."

The only way to combat terrorism is to totally eradicate it from the face of the earth. Thanks for such a good article.

Why not call them what Stormin Norman Schwartzcof ( sure I spelled that wrong) called them. "Murdering Bastards"

Political Correctness is Bull.

"Semaphore Heathcliffe?" And why not "Aldis lamp Julius Ceasar?"

Why, because there was never a Monty Python sketch about Aldis Lamp Julius Caesar. As far as I know. Even if there was, would you want to type that name every time you wanted to log in?

That second site is so scary I ran out with my skin rippling. Not even going to bookmark it. What was the name of the whispy people that the Morlocks fed on?
