I know, we have many military, police officers, EMS Workers and Firefighters who are on these threads. On behalf of my family, friends and all the people I know in the area of Ground Zero, I want to take the opportunity to thank all of you for your excellent services, sensitivity and sacrifices from the bottom of our hearts.
You've been so unbelievably helpful and supportive working long hours and being in conditions that one's imagination cannot ever envision.
God Bless You and I cannot express the measure of our gratitude for your outstanding service.

I'm going to post it. We found a picture of him and he mentioned in a post he had a younger brother.

When you think about it we have some pretty dam good people in this Nation. This reminds me of the Oakland earthquake when everyone pitched in and helped. Let us hope that these workers will not be traumatized for the rest of their lives. Same for the others devastated by this.

Yes, Willy, I agree with you wholeheartedly that we live in a great nation filled with some very fine people. I don't think the rescue workers will be able to forget seeing the horrible devastation to the lives buried in the rubble. I understand there were so many body parts scattered all over the place that the authorities will have a very difficult time identifying all of them.
I hope this tragedy won't leave an emotional scar.
