Aw come on Doug. The reason a lot of these newbies come to this site is because they really don't know the answer to these questions. If we tossed every newbie who couldn't do a 10-for-10 on this quiz, Free Republic would be a very small place.
There are lot of people out there who believe what the left-wing media have been telling them. But once they get a good healthy dose of the truth, they start to come around and they become some of our most stalwart members.

The answer to question 8 is NO.
His nose is not red, it's turning purple.

Gee doug, tell us how you realy feel.I have to agree with you though.I don't think we would be in the mess we are in today if it wasn't for x42.I just wish the media would quit giving him so much face time.

Uh-oh! I said "no" to #8, even though I am not a newbie! I still want to be your friend, Doug, but I thought that cocaine destroyed the INSIDE of the nose? Wouldn't the big red outside of the nose be more from rosacea, exacerbated by hours in the hot sun in front of whatever camera is on??
Good questionnaire!

Newbies sometimes resent it when we read a reply from them and dismiss them because they are new to our forumI'm still focusing my attention towards those who have tenure, and continue to spew drivel.
I've been told to "stop feuding"

How long is a newbie a newbie? And, most importantly, when do they become a FreeBie?

A Newbie doesn't have to answer yes to all of them. I'd like to see some where they just don't know and would like to be educated. If they refuse to take the test or answer no to all, they are here from the RAT underground or some such cesspool. They are time wasters.

I want to lobby for added questions...
11] [y] [n] Do you believe that Bill Clinton purposely bombed an Aspirin Factory [killing innocent people] to deflect attention away from impeachment?
12] [y] [n] Do you Clinton forgot he gave his mother 30,000 dollars [at a time when he was making only 50,000 dollars a year as governor of arkansas] and only remembered it when he read his mothers memoirs? heheheh

First a few questions for you:
What is your time definition of a newbie?
Is it generally accepted that all "newbies" arrive brain dead?
Is there a "trial period" followed by some sort of rite of passage?
What name is given to a newbie once they graduate?
And just a general observation: I take it you don't really like x42 very well. :)

Please let me know where you stand on the questions. You don't have to agree on all of them. Maybe we could help inform you.

Oh my, this is good. I can't stop laughing.

Okay, yes to all of the above squared! ( although I am getting older by the day!) LOL

Rather cute. Dan Rather, of course. Rather not, that is. Or Katie Couric. Walter P38 Cronkite.
Yes to everything.

Incredibly important questions; particularly the one about the rocks on the beach.

First a few questions for you: What is your time definition of a newbie? --
I suppose the last several months or, in some cases, if I haven't read what they've written Is it generally accepted that all "newbies" arrive brain dead? --- Absolutely not. Most come here with some disdain for Scumbag and in time learn to really hate him. I like that.
Is there a "trial period" followed by some sort of rite of passage? --- No trial period. They just have to avoid being blithering idiots and spouting the DNC party line. If they use key words like "stolen election," "killing old people and babies," "poisoning the water," or "oil man," they have nothing I want to hear.
What name is given to a newbie once they graduate? --- Why, FReeper, of course.
And just a general observation: I take it you don't really like x42 very well. :) --- Surprisingly, I thought I loathed him as much as was humanly possible. After seeing him rush to NY and fondle female victims, the loathing became even more intense. His destruction of our security, which some of us have been screaming about for 8 years, is why we had 9-11-01.
