What a couple of 60's rejects! I will place bets that they are teachers or work in an academic atmosphere.
Joe likely works for the city, scraping gum off of 5 or 6 park benches when he actually shows up. Susan probably has a parakeet daycare and neatly lines the cage bottoms with recycled paper.
After 9/11, they work for the local left wing/maggot infested renta mob. They still are key advisors to Barney and Teddy on what to say post 9/11!

6) When he gets back up to punch you, point out that it would be a mistake and contrary to his values to strike you, because that would, "be awful and he should not cause more violence."
7) Wait until he agrees that he has pledged not to commit additional violence.
8) Punch him in the face again, harder this time.
Repeat steps 5 through 8 until they understand that sometimes it is necessary to punch back.
Hillarious. I needed that. Thanks.
They then said they were going to Afganistan to protest in front of Taliban headquarters. They are both sure that as soon as the Taliban, Usama Bin Lauden, and the other terrorist see how sincere they both are, they will melt down their weapons and join the peace movement.
YELLOW
Joe Sandson, left, and Susan McLucas, both of Somerville, Mass., hold signs in response to the military air strikes in Afghanistan. Both were standing on a street corner in Boston facing a building. "Like, we were told that there would be like a rally and stuff." said Sandson as he argued with several of the bricks in the side of the building. McLucas was attempting to sing "Kumbuya" but could rememeber the lyrics. Police broke up their "demonstration" when Sandson attempted to set his head on fire in "a show of soli... soli... I like support those people, dude... whoever they are. The Tali-somethings. Yeah... Them! I'm gonna like set my head on fire to stop them from getting like bombed and stuff. It's like totally unfair and stuff. You know?"
Then they'll turn on each other...
Kick 'em in the 'nads instead.
