We are just supposed to accept the deaths of 5000 citizens at the hands of foreigners who hid among us? We are not supposed to do anything about the free movement of immigrants, especially those from hostile nations/cultures, across our borders and within our country, even after they massacred our people on 9/11 and are almost certainly responsible for the biological warfare since? You're either a naive simpleton or just plain sinister.
The hard truth is -- our government HAS NO CLUE WHO DID THIS. It might be Dr No of Kaos in an oceanic volcano for all they know.
Third, the United States should do something about the terrorists among us. Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said recently on "Meet the Press'' there are an estimated 1,500 to 2,000 "known terrorists'' in the United States. According to the Spring 1998 issue of the Journal of Counterterrorism and Security International, these groups are headquartered in major cities, including Boston, New York, Washington, Houston, Detroit, Kansas City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Raleigh, N.C.
The magazine says the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), with offices in Richardson, Texas, and Chicago, is the principal American front for Hamas, which has as its primary goal the destruction of Israel and the creation in its place of an Islamic Palestinian state. Its annual conferences have been used as vehicles to bring leading Islamic militants into the United States. At one conference in Kansas City, reports the Journal, a featured speaker was the head of the military wing of Hamas. At another conference, young terrorists were taught how to make bombs. Records from the World Trade Center bombing trials show calls made to the IAP by conspirators who were later convicted.
The United Association for Studies and Research (UASR) has offices in Springfield, Va., and Chicago. It is the strategic arm of Hamas in the United States. The founding president of UASR's board was Musa Abu Marzook, the chief of Hamas' political affairs bureau who was arrested in the United States in 1995 and deported to Jordan in 1997. FBI Director Louis Freeh testified before Congress that the Marzook case demonstrated that Hamas recruited members and raised funds in the United States. The current head of UASR, Ahmed bin Yousef, is a leading Hamas ideologue who has called for the annihilation of Israel.
There are similar stories coming from other cities where Hamas and related radical organizations maintain offices. Question: Shouldn't we be deporting such people, or not letting them into the country in the first place? We do great injury to our precious civil liberties when we admit and tolerate dangerous fanatics who would undermine them, not by free speech but by force. That is sedition. A real war against terrorism needs to start on the home front.
We are acting pretty stupid here in the USA. No country in the world has planes landing with the emeny unloading in major cities on a daily basis. How many more have to die to wipe those stupid posts of this thread?
I guess after another 20,000 are murdered, our elected officials will start doing something. And a few on this thread will wise up.
The very lives of our families and loved ones depend on the security of common sense immigration and stopping our bleeding borders. This is no longer business as usual. We need to change they way we look at people that gain entry to our nation illegally. As it is now, Sadam Hussien himself could enter our country with little or no effort.
Our Borders have been bleeding for years and have become a national disgrace. Estimates range between 10 million and 20 million illegal aliens that are now in our nation. And they are not all Mexicans.
We are now finding out that some of these terrorist involved with this murderous acts against our nation entered our country illegally. We need a massive crackdown on people that enter our nation illegally. We need to protect our country. We need to regain control of all of our borders.
Please realize that as I write this, a small team of terrorist with weapons of mass destruction could be entering this nation illegally, right now. They could already be here illegally, waiting, planning. With 10 to 20 million criminal illegal aliens already in country, how many of them are here with agendas of death.

Of course many of those elected officials are the exact same ones who had every reason to know a problem existed but maybe it was bribes, maybe it was incompetence, but they did not choose to protect American lives. There needs to be some criminal investigations on who knew what and why this was allowed to happen. It's unfortunate but it's their own fault now that they have been the ones exposed to anthrax by the terrorists they allowed here.
And unfortunately, 20,000 dead ordinary Americans probably won't change policies, but if a Hollywood celebrity or two dies, or a politician, especially a liberal, or a news anchor dies, then they might think something should be done.
I already realize it. It's only a matter of time until another huge mass murder of Americans occurs. Bank on it folks, as our immigration "free for all" continues......
