Speaking of the Department of Defense, I have to confess that I don't remember which radio show I was listening to nor who the military official was that was being interviewed, but the question was whether or not the Deputy Secretary of Defense was a "hawk". "No", replied the official. "I would describe him as a velociraptor." ROFL!

I find all these masculine take charge Republican men, especially those in uniform, delectable. Didn't VP Look great in his white tie? I'd have a hard time turning one down if I got an invite to dinner. Not that I have to worry my head about it. Yes, Rummy is very appealing.

As you intimate. Bush should be given credit for surrounding himself with smart, experienced capable staff, e.g. Rumsfeld, Powell, Cheney to name a few. thank goodness Clinton and that bunch are out. mad2
