Hi all. Please excuse this vanity post, but I once saw a link to a video (may have been a RealPlayer link) that was basically about a Sesame Street-type program in the Islamic world that has children talking about jihad and 'drowning infidels in blood,' etc. I was wondering if anyone could post a link to this if they know what I'm talking about. Thanks.
Full disclosure. After seeing the video at a CAMERA conference, I wrote to Disney telling them about the dshow and that their characters were on the walls of the studio (no doubt without permission).
I had to save it to disk and then open it off the hard drive to make it work, but there it is.

Here`s some excerpts from 'The Childrens Club' (episodes aired July 2, 1998 & February 8, 1998).
When I wander into Jerusalem I will become a suicide bomber.

I come here to say that we will throw them to the quiet sea. Occupiers, your day is near, then we will settle our account. We will settle our claims with stones and bullets.

A 10-year-old girl declared that she wanted to turn into a suicide warrior in Jerusalem.

I don't doubt that it's sick, but I have a twisted sense of humor. I simply must see some friendly muppet advising a six year old that "In Paradise the martyrs each get seventy virgins to perpetually deflower, and they bathe in the blood of the infidels!"
This is how they raise their kids, and yet they bitch when we're forced to blow up several of the older ones who ambled off to Afghanistan in their postpubescent years. I've given up trying to apply logic to Islamic Fundamentalist "thinking." They circumcise their women. They require no further analysis to fully understand.
If it's one's greatest desire to be martyred, or to have one's children martyred, then I have little sympathy, either for the dead child, or their "grieving" family.
Works fine for me.
There have been many versions of RealPlayer through the years, the one on your computer may be too old to play the clip (which is well worth watching).
Go to http://www.realplayer.com and download the latest copy of RealPlayer 8.0, that's what I used and it plays just fine.
(I set up that HTML link to go straight to their "download the free player" page -- they purposely make it hard to find from their main page, since they'd rather you bought the non-free version.)
We're fortunate that Generation Y dwarfs the Baby Boom. With that kind of talent pool, we're going to have a lot of exceptional servicepeople - and we're likely to need them, against this automatonic horde of walking Kamikazes. Divine Providence, I suppose.
Agreed. Its just a pain that so much content on the web requires it.
Whatever, just keep supporting MicroSoft sheeple.
