not doing anything is exactly what Richard Gere suggested, and you should have heard the boos he got for that. Richard Gere's gerbil made an appearance on Saturday night but when it heard all the boos it climbed back up Gere's ass again. This mean 6 more weeks of bombing.

"I thought conservatives stood for class etc."
You think too much Miss Manners!
To: watsonfellow
...still it was quite rude the boo-ing of Clinton.
Seriously, I thought conservatives stood for class etc. I think that it would have been far better for these firemen and policemen to express their disapproval by simply doing nothing, no clapping, no booing, nothing when she appeared. That too would have spoke volumes about their feelings, but in a more dignified way. You must be joking. Under the circumstances I thought they were restrained. Have you forgotten her entourage ran over a cop just last week, spat upon them last year, and referred to the Diablo defendants, who were acquitted on all charges as "murderers"?
Plainly, she LOATHES the police...and they know it.

Make him a write in for NYC mayor!
To: sakic
Pataki and Giuliani have actually done something to help ease the situation. hitlery has none nothing zero zilch nada. The verdict stands.
To: Queen Elizabeth of Iowa
If they had simply sat on their hands, the lefties in the audience would have filled the hall with their own applause and cheers. No one would have known that the firemen and police were not clapping like crazy. Most excellent point!
Once this hoity-toity "watsonfellow" finishes his liberal arts education and "traipsing around Europe" (read his profile), he might get his sanctimonious head out of his ass and realize that the heroes in New York earned the right to boo this phoney, clutching, poisonous shrew of a woman off the stage of Madison Square Garden this past weekend. It was one of those moments that made me proud to be an American.
To: sakic
Yeah, and if Hillbilly were mayor, she'd still be under her desk, wringing her hands and on the phone to Usama apologizing for putting those mean old buildings in the way of his "Freedom Fighters"!

Getting your feet wet are you Mr. NEWBIE. (and believe me, that is a lot of area to get wet)

He's more than a DU disruptor. He's an arrogant punk. Had to start a whole thread about how rude it was to Boo the Shrew. Sounds like a Hillary Staffer to me.

(can stinger missles track witches on brooms?)
To: Clay Moore
Pataki and Giuliani have actually done something to help ease the situation. Can you be more specific? I don't think they've done a damn thing other than appear in photo ops. Granted, I'm not sure what they could do anyway.
At least Pataki didn't try and act like a dictator in the wake of the WTC. The same can't be said for Giuliani.

We have remained silent long enough! It is way past time for the Klintons to go. THEY NEED TO GET OUT, SHUT UP AND GO AWAY. Hitlery sold pardons for votes and I think the fine people of NY are finally begining to see the light.

Simply doing nothing is what has allowed Bill and Hill to continue to exist.
Your opinion of dignified is really something that would be lost on 2 people who have not recognize dignity in their entire lifes. Silence to them probably would have been translated as being firemen and policemen being in total awe of the greatest (self proclaimed) President in the history of the USA. Which gets us to you moron.

He's more than a DU disruptor. He is also a traipser since he described himself as currently "traipsing" around Europe. watsonfellow also wants us to be impressed by the fact that he is a big fan of Evelyn Waugh (he is the guy who wrote "Brideshead Revisited" where a couple of guys traipsed up to the roof of a castle and roasted their naked buns in the sun together.)

Yes, I have MSNBC, but I haven't seen the clip there and my PC here at work does not allow video access. I'm screwed.
