How about a show on Freepers becoming active in picture taking and writing down suspicious activity byANY who look to be casing places or making terrorist preparations. Yeah, most people wouldn't know what they were seeing, but some Freepers can tell hair-raising stories of things just recently that would have made nice picture and written data for law enforcement types, had they been recorded then! The purpose of the show would be to enlighten and prepare Freepers to be proactive in a 'watch the community' status.

Thursday night, in a call in to TLBShow, I mentioned this as something we have a Thread running on right now, but an entire show, SOON, on the topic might be much better to get the ball rolling.

I'd like to suggest a topic for a show .....

FREEPERS AGED 18-26 WHO HAVE NOT ENLISTED IN THE ARMED SERVICES AND WHY THEY HAVEN'T !!!!!

I've raised the question a few times on threads since (/11 and have gotten some of the lamest answers. As much as I'd love to emcee such a show, I am sure I'd have to bleep mysef and do the equivalent of pulling my own thread.

I believe it would draw quite an audience..... but might not get many call-ins.

I second your recommendation!! Just recently, I reported a neighbor to the state police and FBI. None of the other neighbors had the gumption to do so. As it turns out, the information I provided on the "middle eastern" neighbor, who just happened to disappear around 9/11, set off some red flags. Within 2 days, his car was impounded. Inside they found 3 separate and distinctly different identification forms with the same face. Within one week, a HUGE moving van arrived at his home. They packed up all the contents into a container (the type used for long distance moves). My guess is that the student visa ran out and INS said "adios".

It would be good to have a program where the stories not reported on US news programs are aired, like the one this past week where the Italian police accidentally came across a ship in port where there were strange sounds coming out of one of the containers. Inside they found a middle eastern man, well dressed, with a laptop computer, cell phone, bed, toilet and 3 different passports. He also had papers indicating that he was an airline mechanic. His destination? Toronto. Arrival scheduled for the week before our Thanksgiving. Where there's one, there many well be others. This is war! Frighteningly, Americans are already becoming complascent. They need to hear this story and any others as well!
