You may not believe this, but my wife says the garbagec inema, American Beauty, promotes the girl as a strong, real character, the main shill, Spacey, as a tragic figure since just when he is supposedly getting it together, he is mindlessly murdered by the weirdo next door that believes his son has been blowing the neighbor, and the wife is the consummate frustrated American housewife! Yeah, that's the movie review I had to listen to before deconstructing the evil underlying the theme and the cinematic effort.

Just imagine, who would be alive to go to the movies if the filthy minds and lives depicted in that movie were to come to fruition? What nation could withstand foreign enemies if the homefront was characterized as shown in that movie? Now, ask yourself, who would stand to gain, ultimately, if America were to copy such filth? What force actually wants this nation to conform to such a depiction?... Oh, to be sure, for a time Hollywood could reap billions spewing out more of the same deviancy, but ultimately, what would result? Destruction, utter, complete, annihilation, by enemies for whom America is a great Satan, a thorny obstacle to world domination and genocide against such as, moderate Moslems, Christians, the Jews and Israel! Yet hollyweird is populated with Jews exploiting the denegration of American morals because there's huge money to be made in the sensationalism of deviancy!

They make this guy a former Marine, shot one at the Corps probably the most conservative of the Armed Forces. #2 Harrigan from Long Island, so number one he's American-Irish and from New York which means more than likely he's Catholic....hmmmmm a coincidence??

Sounds like conservatism. It was spread to me by a kindly neighbor who used to secretly tutor me when my New Deal liberal parents were not around. When I finally "came out" as a Republican at age 15, my father screamed "Not in my house" and promptly put me on the street. After a few days at my patriotic neighbors, I was allowed to return. But nothing was ever the same once I caught the virulent strain of conservatism that effects me to this day.

Big John is the most likable character in the movie. He is both cultured and patriotic. Howie's father is a womanizer who ignores the boy. Howie's best friend is a sociopathic male prostitute and another friend is having an incestuous relationship with his sister. Howie and his friends spent their leisure time robbing houses and discussing sex acts. Big John comes along and "helps" Howie when his life falls apart.

I think the most mind-blowing part of this article is that they're UPSET by an NC 17 rating. What exactly did they expect, PG?
