Bush a Freeper?
Fox News

Posted on 11/08/2001 4:35:31 PM PST by TheAngryClam

Three times in his address on 11/08/01 Bush used the words of Todd Beamer- "Let's Roll!" including to close it. Think it's possible to bump him?

Of course, the persons who come to mind right now are all members of a Presbyterian Church.

Sometimes known as the "Frozen Chosen."

I know he's not a Christian, but is a Methodist, but certainly he knows there is only one God and His name is Jesus Christ, not Allah. God has no Fornicating-Psychotic-Prophet named Mohammad. And there is only one Word of God, and it's the Bible, not the man made Koran. Certainly he must know these things, yet he continues the lies. Why?

You are an idiot.

Hyperdenominationalism. You just exhibited the divisiveness far too rampant in the church today. In equating the Christian with a slightly different systematic theology as being only slightly superior to the fundamentalist Muslim believing his demonically-inspired religion, you demonstrate your shallow thinking.

I, too, have disagreements with the Methodist doctrine. I also have disagreements with the Catholic, Reformed, and Pentacostal branches, some bigger than others. But anyone who confesses that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh and the sole way of salvation, well, they're Christians. I may not believe them to have correct doctrine-- and God knows that I would stand up for sound doctrine any day!

Would you rather he lambast the religion and pave the way for a open civil war in our own country?

Yes,, better now than later.

Thanks for the ping Jellybean. I would love to know that someone once they opened my snail mail took a peek at the Canteen and FR. We probably will never know but it is fun to think about.

Thanks again my dear friend.

Well, if there is some other meaning to the question "are you a Christian" it has gone right over my head. I just say yes and the subject is dropped. Or, the person feels some sort of relief because they are also Christian, or not. As for Episcopalian or whatever, I do not judge anyone by that. Well, maybe I would be slightly more judgmental about Catholics (not negatively so, necessarily) because I know that Catholics have rituals that I do not have and do not always understand. Judgmental is not a good word....it would be, rather, aware. As for the arrogance some people demonstrate, I never really attributed that to a particular denomination. I would tend rather to attribute that to an individual. Obviously your level or awareness is different than mine. Nothing wrong with that. Thanks for responding.

Art Linkletter's video "Kids say the darndest things" ----

Art is discussing religion with the children. He comes to one little boy who has been agreeing with all the other children as they told Art about their religion.

So Art says to this little boy, "Hey, I'll bet you're a diplomat."

The little boy responded, "Nope, I'm a Catholic Baptist."

If Bush is spending time cruising the Internet ... well, he needs to spend more time being president.

Just because many of us spend way too much time here (to the detriment of other things we should be doing), doesn't mean everyone does. Bush takes time off. No hurt done, and a lot of chuckles, in a little R&R on FR. Better than watching anything on TV. I bet people close to him have sent him a link to a thread and said he just has to check this one out.

I know he's not a Christian, but is a Methodist,

I know you actually mean this, but LOL anyway.

I remember as a kid some of my Baptist relatives teasing the Methodist relatives and saying, "Well, there might be one or two Methodists in heaven."

On a more serious note, you have some serious issues. Pray about it.
