The mandatory minimum sentence for child molestation should be death.

They got the SOB! Good.
I'm sure there'll be a cell on death row with his name on it.

When will we learn that this kind of scum needs to be executed the first time they are convicted? Too many years from now we can watch the liberals weep when he is finally executed. Too bad he won't be in open population til then.

I usually don't like exploiting these things for political gain, but somebody ought to run television ads during the Super Bowl highlighting the details of this case and calling groups like the NAACP to task for their blanket opposition to the death penalty. For that matter, they could run the same ads about the NAACP and the James Byrd case.

This was previewed on AMW last week. This scumbag deserves the chair.

If we could only understand why he rapes and kills, perhaps we could understand why society is guilty.
I think he's suffered enough.

We should have learned that years ago. This earth will be a better place when this perp is no longer consuming valuable oxygen.

I believe in registering sex offenders. We need to execute all of them, and make a central registry of all of the ones that have been fried.

Death is not good enough - somehow a lethal injection is too easy. I think of the suffering of that little girl and the agony her parents will go through the rest of their lives - I don't know what kind of punishment would ever be horrible enough for a creep like this.

If this man is still alive in a year, it'll be proof the liberal judges are crazy and possibly child rapist too.

Maybe this is a chance for the liberals to come up with a new slogan..."Register Guns, Not Sex Offenders".

Renteria was convicted in 1994 of indecency with a child involving sexual contact, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety's Sex Offender Database. The victim was 8 years old.
Special place in hell for this sicko. Castration seems like a real good step towards rehabilitation.

Grainy tape from a surveillance video camera showed a man roaming the store, pushing an empty shopping cart for 40 minutes before starting to follow Alexandra. So much for the "spur of the moment" defense - this act is premeditated. It makes you wonder if the judge who released this piece of filth has any children.

I agree. It's gross stupidity to think a pedophile will be reformed with 180 days "bootcamp" and 10 years probation.
There's no reform for pedophiles.

There is a cure for such behavior,it comes in various calibers! If this louse had been terminated after his first crime, that little girl would still be alive today!
