VANITY - Interesting article for Kennedy conspiracy buffs

....At the time Col. Prouty retired from the U.S. Air Force, in 1964, he was the liaison between the Secretary of Defence and the CIA Director, Allen Dulles. Prouty was in a unique position to perceive what was going on in the CIA and what pressures were on President Kennedy. On frequent occasions, Prouty would work out of the home of Secretary of State John Foster Dulles with the Dulles brothers on fast breaking world affairs. Allen Dulles was the CIA Director that John Kennedy fired after the Bay of Pigs fiasco who sat on the WARREN COMMISSION. All knowledgeable researchers place the Dulles brothers within the circle of the conspirators.

If we only knew then, what we do now, it would have been easy to identify the other conspirators. Lyndon Johnson lived across the street from J. Edger Hoover for 22 years in Washington D.C. Johnson was associated with Jack Ruby in Dallas. Hoover attended the meeting at the Clint Murcheson ranch, along with Richard Nixon and high ranking military, where the last minute details of the assassination were worked out. Richard Nixon first told the FBI he did not remember where he was when JFK was murdered. Then he said he was in Dallas but flew out an hour before the shooting. He lied. Executives at the PEPSICO meeting attended by Nixon related that not only was Nixon there when the shooting happened but Nixon was the only person who wanted to go on working after the shocking news of the President's death.

At the street level below these conspirators we find the CIA Bay of Pigs operatives Frank Sturgus, Jack Youngblood and E. Howard Hunt being photographed in the famous "tramp photos". These three suspects were arrested in a boxcar which was parked behind the grassy knoll picket fence over which the fatal shot was fired. These 3 assassins were released after 15 minutes by the FBI without being finger printed, photographed or identified and were last seen leaving Dallas in a police squad car. As a litmus test, any documentary which omits these photos is probably a fraud. These photos have never been shown by the mass media to the American public.

If that does turn out to be Oswald's camera, it was taped there by one of Dallas's finest, not Oswald. /sarcasm

Don't forget one of the BY photos was found in Roscoe White's belongings after he died. If the DPD was willing to secret *that* evidence, what else did they secret, hmmm???

If the FIB was willing to deny evidence found in the Waco massacre, don't you think it's possible they played with evidence in a presidential assassination to assure the public that the right perp had been captured and murdered in custody and that no one else was at large?

Look like I said I'm not that much into the conspiracy thing, but even you would have to admit that the odds of making that shot(3 times even) and making it with the accuracy that he supposedly made it with(forgetting all the other things) would be astronomical. And I don't care what kind of training he had

Ooh, here we go again. A Boy Scout could make that shot. And the FBI,CBS and the NRA all duplicated those shots. Do some research.

No, I wouldn't say that at all. They were not hard shots, and he missed one of them completely. Shooter is trying to tell you they were easy shots. He knows. The most common reaction from people that visit the 6th floor and look out that window is suprise at how much closer it is than they thought and how easy the shots would be.

I think the tin hat cuts off circulation.

That's why aluminum foil beanies are a more functional choice, if not more stylish.

The funny thing is that these are the same people who claim they can hit a running deer at a thousand yards standing on one foot in a rainstorm. They just can't hit a target at 88 yards.

I've been there, and while I don't claim to be a master sniper, it's an eminently makeable shot. It's not that far, as you said, and Oswald had another thing working in his favor. Due to the layout of Dealey Plaza, when you see where JFK was when the shots were fired, the car carrying him would have been moving almost directly away from Oswald. Hence, almost no movement across the FOV.

Not with that particular rifle, and not with that junk 7/8-inch Jap scope, which Army Ordnance technicians had to shim to even hit the 6-foot cotton bales then used for recovery of bullets, not a usual concern of those AMTU military balisticians.

Nor has anyone caught what was special, particularlar and unique about that particular model of 6,5mm Carcano, and why that would be of importance in the November 1963 timeframe, or to anyone who knows what *Mexican match* rifle ammunition is and how it got its name.

But I'm pretty certain I could have made those shots- or longer ones, with a more serious rifleman's piece of equipment, with [say for instance] a pre-'64 [obviously!] Winchester Model 70 rebarrelled to 6,5 carcano. It took a little attention to the bolt face and extractor as well, but the question might be why that particular cartridge/bullet combination...? And remember, still true now as it was then: only accurate rifles are interesting....

Can't you and mlo make your case without putting your fellow freepers down? Your opposition is entitled to their opinions. If you want their respect, treat them with respect. Put your evidence and sources out there, but treat your opposition as you prefer to be treated; with dignity and respect. I enjoy interacting with you guys on the assassination, but I can't do it when you talk down to folks.

Whether you agree with it or not, the HSCA, the official government final finding, found that JFK was assassinated as a result of a conspiracy. There have been no further official investigations----that I am aware of.

I always thought it was the mob; but lately I believe the CIA actually did it because Kennedy was such a loose cannon; and contrary to so called popular opinion; he wasn't the brightest light bulb in the bunch.

Also, only your government is powerful enough for a coverup of this sort; like the Warren Commission.

Again I'm not much into it and if you say the shot could be made, then maybe it could? But the thing that comes back to bother me about Oswald doing the shooting is WHY? Not the how of it, say he made those shots, that's great(well it's not great considering a man died), but up to that point in history most assassinations had some political purpose behind them and usually a group supporting them. I just don't see a deluded crazed man deciding, Hey I'm going to shoot Kennedy and going to do it.

Let's say Oswald did it. WHY?

I think you must have me confused with another poster.

Please quote me saying anything about the rifle or shots!
