Hillary Said to be 'Warming' to 2004 Presidential Run

Former first lady Hillary Clinton is warming up to the idea of a presidential race in 2004.

So says Chicago Sun-Times gossip columnist Michael Sneed, who tells readers Wednesday that she's "heard" the news from sources she doesn't identify, but adds, "Stay tuned."

On Sunday Mrs. Clinton repeatedly insisted that she currently had "no intention" of making a White House run - ever.

But when pressed by NBC "Meet the Press" host Tim Russert, Clinton refused to flatly reject the possibilty she could change her mind.

RUSSERT: Never? You'll never run?

CLINTON: You know, Tim, I have no intention of running for president.

RUSSERT: Oh, but that's a--no intention. Either "I will never run" or "I might run."

CLINTON: You know, your good friend and mine, James Carville, told me, "Tim will ask you this 900 different ways," but the answer is the same. You know, I do not intend to do that. But what I do intend to do is, you know, to be the best senator I can be, which is what I'm trying to do to the best of my ability every single day.

There are a couple of pieces of silverware she missed to complete her set...and her little love nest with Vince and Janet!

LOL! I'll bet that if Vince Foster were still alive, he'd lick this stamp.

The Hildabeast can give it all she's got and won't even make it through to nomination. She's hated by all but the most ardent clintonites. One of my co-workers, a long-time GOP volunteer said 'watch out for a "Daschle/Clinton" ticket in 2004.

This article is a wake up call for a truth the GOP had best get a clue about. The nice little bills being pushed like Fast Track Trade, Faith Based Programs, and the list is many more as well. Ask yourselves this serious question. Do you want Hillary Clinton to have these powers as POTUS? Be serious please! What bad precedent is now being cheered on because Da man is in office will be the DEM's one day. Sobering thought isn't it? If it's a bad idea for Hillary to have it's bad news period. This is a point consistently being ignored but a valid one no less.

Consider seriously your support of any and all new programs and positions being created. Do you want a Hillary Homeland Security? Well why allow it now? Bad precedent will be this administrations worst legacy it doesn't have to be this way if enough people protest to the GOP. Think seriously on the matters and don't be quick to give it all you blessing unless you have weighed carefully the possible long term results of current proposals.

This might be as good as that phony reverend from New York, MR. Sharpton, running for president.

Quick! Pour a truckload of ice water on her. Nobody wants her to get too warm.

A bump for what you said. I would add that some people need to get a grip on reality; there is no guarantee that Bush will win a second term and those sky-high poll ratings may not last forever and even if high in 2004, all those who approve of Bush may not necessarily vote for him.

We also need to take these little hitlery "feelers" seriously and do what we can to expose her so she doesn't have a chance. That evil witch is a scary power monger whether these new bills are passed or not.

Oh yea a close one to my heart there. But here's what most never heard afterward. Hillary Care is alive and in place. Look up Tenn Care and Tennessee State Income tax threads. The Medicaid funding for Tennesse's disabled was re-distributed among the masses in a Universal Health Care scheme in Tennessee. HMO's blackmailed Tennessee doctors into this system. I have no love nor sympathy for HMO's they are congressional mandated and protected shell games and frauduant by the very nature of their set up. But that's another story.

BTW I didn't support neither the GOP Paitents Bill of Rights nor the Dems. I supported HMo's being removed from letigation protection all together. I did not support the Patients bill of rights for the patient as no party should enjoy elevated status in court.

I'll bet that Janet Reno would beat him to it and then beat him to a pulp for trying.

George W vs. Hillary, eh?
Dubya would have a very good chance at breaking President Reagan's electoral vote record. And Hillary could then take her seat, next to Miz Reno, at the 'Where Are They Now?' club.
