"Yea, keep voting for the Algores...they're closer to your views! No, not Al Gore, but I aspire to live my life in keeping with biblical principles. Therefore, I cannot vote for a man who would do nothing about the wholesale murder of the unborn and the headlong rush into a secular humanistic society. If you listen closely to Bush you will begin to doubt the sincerity of his Christian beliefs very quickly."

Get real!

Liberals took over incrementally!

We can only recover incrementally!

Look what happened when Newt tried to go too fast!

The problem with the Republican Revolution wasn't that Newt "went too fast" -- unless by that you mean that he CAVED too fast. I knew it was all over when Clinton bested him in the so-called government shutdown.

And as for incrementalism -- that would be fine, except that we're still incrementing in the wrong direction. (All while we're adding more cabinet-level bureaucracies and growing the budget at a rate that Ted Kennedy use to have wet dreams about.)

Tell me again how the Republicans are the party of less government and conservatism. Wake up.

Amen Brother Amen!

I am reminded of these words when I read your post: "The journey of a thousand miles begins but with a single step."

During the primaries you must vote for the canidates who support "Your" issues each and every time in order to swing the party towards the goals you wish! This process takes years and we are slowly gaining ground but, to "take-your-ball-and-go-home" when you don't get your way is a recipe for disaster! Witness when we Paid back President Bush 40 for "Read my Lips" we got 8 years of X42 and unending appearences of "the Little General" on Larry King! This alone is enough for me to never allow "principles" to lead me down the false path again!
