In order for this strategy to again succeed, an antagonist will have to be created. Ken Starr was that person during impeachment, and the smears on him stuck because he felt the nature of his position did not allow him to respond to the attacks.Will they go after Bush 41? His comments a week or so again pertaining to Johnny Bin Walker and his general disdain for Clinton illustrate that he (nor Barbara) will not sit idly by and be slammed.
Do they dare take on Bush 43? That would be a challenge Clinton would relish, but I don't know if his cronies would like to be on his side against the most popular President since WWII.
Initially, I believe the strategy will be to paint this "Pearl Harbor" committee as a partisan witch hunt. Henry Waxman and Patrick Leahy will be the ringleaders in this claim. I can hear Puffy D say in his soft voice, "I'm so disappointed, disappointed, disappointed...that the President and the Attorney General have chosen to pursue this matter in such a divisive, partisan fashion...
I agree, at least not until after the 2004 elections. If he were to cooperate now it could end up being the subject that stops his reelectiion.

I mention these facts because they've never been a part of any official Pearl Harbor inquiry. If you want a "whitewash" of 9-11, support some sort of Congressional hearings or a blueribbon panel. I have little faith in them getting to the bottom of who's to blame...
My greatest wish would be to see all the crimminals from the Clinton administration behind bars, but right now all I can do is wish.

I agree with your post but had to laugh at this one; I assume you mean that for once We the Taxpayers won't have to foot the bill but I doubt very seriously that bill and hill will *ever* pay their own way for anything.
...It was CLINTON's own 1993-95 CIA Director JAMES WOOLSEY, who he never met with as President, that stated several times on National TV in the week of Sept 11th that it was the CLINTON Administration who KILLED the FBI's persuing its fruitful investigation into Irag's Link to that 1993 WTC Bombing ...by FIRING the FBI's Head of Investigation. The CLINTONS' Message was received loud and clear = Leave Iraq ALONE. Iraq "Got it" as well ...encouraging another Terrorist Attack on the World Trade Center later on.
...JAMES WOOLSEY went on to further state that Sept 11th Week ...that it was again the CLINTON Administration, starting in 1995, that KILLED our protecting CIA from hiring the on the ground spies we needed to find out what our Terrorist Enemies had planned against US so that we could stop them in advance. The Pearl Harbor investigation held over 55 years ago blamed the success of the invasion on the US General and Admiral commanding the defenese of Hawaii. They were both fired in the aftermath. ZERO blame was placed on Roosevelt and those in his Administration.
I can't believe anyone would applaud what is certainly going to happen in Daschle's and Hastert's congress.
The Clintons will be totally cleared. The Military, CIA, FBI, the Airlines will be blamed. Then congress will create a new Government Agency and give it dictatorial powers over all citizens to prevent 911 from ever happening again.
