I agree the stories are spinning. I can't verify the story . Only that it was posted over 2 years ago. Seems rather prophetic. More evidence of Clinton ignoring the problem. Demonstarting at a minimum his culpability by neglicence

Remember when the lost Russian suitcase nuke story was considered the product of conspiracy nuts..? That story has now been aknowledged as fairly accurate.

Look at the date on the article. None of those Islamokazi Nazi stormtroopers then hit upon the idea of converting passenger planes into flying ballistic missles to take down buildings. But after Sept. 11th there's no crazy idea they won't try to bring about the imminent end of America as the guy lighting explosives in his shoes has shown. Yeah while it was funny in one way of looking at it, the truth is these crazies are also deadly serious. It'll be a matter of time before they come up with another kooky scheme that will make us wish Sept. 11th was the worst of it. When it comes to killing innocent people rest assured these motherf*ckers will allow no one and nothing to stand in their way of ridding the world of America. Let's not forget, the Army lost track of how many nukes it had received delivery on 'way back in the 50s. The most accurate count of the howitzer-size nukes was "over 7,500", but no one ever figured out how many over. Not surprised that there are nukes floating around, but doubt that all of them are Russian. Backpack nukes and suicide bombers are dumb ideas. The easiest construction and delivery option is to build a crude fission weapon in a cargo container, put it on a ship in the same Pakistani or Yugoslavian port that the cargo containers of heroin from the Northern Warlords get loaded, and attach the detonator to a cell phone. Set it off in harbor, or after it's offloaded onto a truck or train to any major city. If any group actually wanted to do it a price of five to ten million dollars would not be unreasonable. This is not rocket science any more. Now our Commander In Thief has decided to cut the funding for the program that assists the Russians to securely destroy old warheads in order to use the money on Star Wars. Let's see, we can pay 40 million bucks in Russian wages in Russia to do a job which would cost 750 times more in the US and in return live more securely, OR we can take that money and spend add it to a program which can hit its target less than half the time even in the most rigged test imaginable and which has already cost us 100 billion dollars. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Incidentally folks, the anthrax is from Dugway Proving Grounds, where they have been producing it on a regular basis during the last 28 years that the Gov't has denied production of bioweapons.

I do not know if he has nuclear or radiological capability, but OBL or his replacement would choose a time and a highly populated location that the west has overlooked and would be humiliated the most. I can think of several.

Read the book of Obediah in the Tanakh(Bible) for a description of the fate awaiting Islam, no mood altering drugs will be needed.

And where would these weapons be stored while awaiting deployment, now his host country has been overrun and occupied? It just doesn't add up. I had a look at Obadiah, too. Wellllllll, this layman found the nuke article plausible enough. What do I know.

On the other hand . . .It SEEMS LOGICAL to me that:

(1) The mafia types in the former Soviet republics are not likely to be very value ridden beyond their own greed for goods, money and power.

(2) They are likely to be AT LEAST as powerful as some of the governments involved.

(3) They are likely to be very opportunistic.

(4) Bin Laden would love to do business with any one who'd further his aims--particularly such close neighbors.

(5) Bin Laden has ENOUGH access to ENOUGH petro dollars and radical Islamic dollars to pay whatever price necessary to acquire whatever goods he put a priority on.

(6) It's entirely probable to certain he has had a high priority on nukes for a very long time.

(7) Except for his supposed religious values, he's not 100% a dumb idiot in all other areas. He has demonstrated SOME capacity toward long range planning, organizational abilities, etc.

(8) Bin Laden would likely want to use his nukes when (A) satan and satan's behind-the-scenes henchmen for our era allowed him to; (B) when doing so would be the most dramatic and effective in Bin Laden's view.

(9) After some complacency has risen significantly in the U.S. and we're perhaps gloating over evident victories, might be a good time, in his view.

(10) It is interesting that a number of recently expressed prophetic voices have asserted that mid-January is a very vulnerable time in the U.S. for SAN FRANCISCO, SEATTLE, LA, DENVER, CHICAGO, PHOENIX, NYC, . . . for nukes, quakes and other unknown devastations.

We shall see. But one might want to keep one's seat-belt buckled and avoid high buildings.

Agreed ... much reads like pure BS out of a a 007 thriller.

However much of the TV and gov reporting has ALSO sounded like BS from a 007 movie. I find the article rather curious considering the source, date published and that alot of the rumors floating about Bin Laden have been on the radar screen for many years. I find it hard to believe that with all that we know now, of which the government knew so much more years ago..who held our guys at bay ? Just seems like someone at the VERY top of the excecutive branch must have known and didn't care enough about the american people to act with any certainty. I remember reading that Clintoon all but stopped the daily Intelligence briefings. Which I think was confirmed when Bush took office as it was reported these briefings were restarted. Clintoon was soo untrustworthy and his administration soo corrupt that it was not safe to brief many of his staff. I remember that many of his staff never got a proper vetting for security clearance purposes. I am thankful we now have a pres with the kahonas and principles to act.

As a side note, All this bs being floated a while back about the requirement of official government approval and legal sanctioning of assasination is cr@p. If anyone believes they are holding back wet black ops, I have a great deal on a bridge.

It's always wise to avoid the nesting areas of the liberals, more whine and media coverage for the buck. Terrorists know this as well, if the intent is to cause fear then the most media attention and the loudest wailing, would occur in these places. They seem to generally parallel some of the locations you mentioned.
