Infomercial Help
None

Posted on 02/02/2002 1:30:08 PM PST by 1L

For about the first time in my life I saw an infomercial for a product I think might be useful. Trouble is, I had to run somewhere before I could write down the title and now I've forgotten it, so I can't look it up on the net. Has anyone seen this product that looks like one of those chef tool french fry makers. It has a lever and has interchangable cutting blades. It can be used to cut and core fruit, cut eggs, potatoes, and even with certain attachments, works as a juicer.

I know, I know, buying stuff from infomercials usually isn't a good idea. I don't know if I'm interested in buying it; I just want to see more about it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Don't buy unless they "throw" in 6 steak knives and a sport Marine watch. LOL!

Right here-- Vanity Post on Vanity Posts, Duplicate Posts, Trash Posts, Commie Propaganda, etc.

My impression of the vanity post thing is that a post such as this is only going to get 2 dozen or so responses. 50 at the most. I think JimRob's real thinking was aimed at posts such as "What was the best Rock group of the '70s" or "What was your favorite TV show," posts that get responses well into the hundreds. If you truly think I'm wrong then why did you even post -- as you've added to the number yourself? Why didn't you just send an email to JimRob to get this post removed?

Please remit $199.95 shipping and handling.

Can we make that in 3 easy installments? And if we order in the next 15 minutes, will you reduce that to only 2 installments of not $100, not $95, not even $92, but just two easy installments of $90?

And don't forget my ginsu knives that will cut through steel wool and still slice tomatos paper thin.

My fellow Freeper-- I was merely informing you of Robinson's request. It doesn't seem open to interpretation to me-- he asked us to stay on politics. Why would I want to have your post removed? Don't be such a sorehead. Robinson made the request. Gripe at him.

Yes. The inventor calls it Segway or Ginger or sometimes just "It". It costs aroud $600 and will change the world as we know it.

Sorry! I think the offer has beenwithdrawn. This marvelous tool which was reduced to $19,95 plus shipping and handling and which you would get two more free if ordered within seven minutes has been deemed to dangerous to ship by air or even donkey.

--I had that problem once, wanted to remember some deal on a commercial, called the station, told them the time and show, and they had the info for me pretty quickly.

I thought this would be a thread about the amazing Flavor Wave Oven!

I saw it last night and it's the real deal. Juicy steaks from frozen to table in 20 min. They did the standard crazy demo where they cooked a chicken to perfection after it was frozen in liquid nitrogen!

Very interesting. I have a "thing" about kitchen "stuff." I can never have enough and every gadget is irresistible. BTW, how did you find that forum? I'm always interested in having feedback from others on stuff but google searches never seem to bring up discussions like that. It was an excellent discussion. Are you going to get one of those ovens?

You also get a set of pairing knives

I got a set of those years ago; been living in the same drawer all this time and I haven't seen even a razor blade yet; I think I got taken.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I saw the informerical a couple nights ago. It's black and has a long handle. If you act now they will take off one payment. I just did a bunch of searches for you, but I must not be hitting on the right keywords. If I find it I will let you know.

Hey, I did get the Ronco rotiseree and got it for free!I ordered it and instead of paying three installments I paid for it in full. After three weeks I called asking where it was since I had not received it.The girl told me to call back in a week. Aweek later I called and again voiced my concern that my creditcard had indeed been billed and no ronco, the girl apologised and said she would drop ship one that evening, three days later my machine arrived. Three weeks later my credit card statement came and I had a credit for what I paid for the machine, less 19.95 shipping, all in all I love the machine, it does chicken right, along with salmon steaks and roasts.

I also love my Ronco Rotisserie. One thing about Ronco, buy all your Ronco products from QVC. They have a better return policy, cheaper shipping, and the product is also less on QVC. Same goes for the George Foreman Grill.

I'm seriously considering getting it from ranchfoodsdirect.com as people suggested. Not a bad price at $150, and people seem to be happy with it. I found it using Google and the word "review."

The somewhat similar GE Advantium oven uses halogen lights to cook/broil fast without drying like a microwave, but it costs over $1000
