Christianity is better off without him, and you can't say that about too many people

That is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard from anybody who called themselves a Christian! Who are YOU to determine who is worthy of salvation?

No editorial comments. Just thought you'd find it interesting.

God bless ya, "Alice". Jesus loves ya, you've had the guts to stand up and be counted, and I'm happy and proud for ya.

Alice Cooper? Everyone should back off and leave him alone. If it isn't just a media stunt or an effort to move to a new genre, then he needs TIME to grow....years in fact.
But doncha just know that some "with it" personality-cult christians are gonna glorify him immediately and attempt to put him up front in a leadership role.
Sickens me. If it's real, they'll mislead him. If it's phoney, they'll play right into it.

Now can you beat that, by the time this election comes we will have everyone on our side. The dems must be shaking by now. Godless that they are.

It's God's desire that everyone should come to him. Everyone.

By that logic, Christianity would have been better off without Saul of Taursus getting involved.
He has avoided "celebrity Christianity," because "it's really easy to focus on Alice Cooper and not on Christ. I'm a rock singer. I'm nothing more than that. I'm not a philosopher. I consider myself low on the totem pole of knowledgeable Christians. So, don't look for answers from me."M/I>
I love the humility and admire the restraint from falling into the trap of celebrity Christianity.

Seems to be more real than Dave Mustaine's(Megadeth) profession.

I seem to remember reading that Alices' dad is/was a minister. Perhaps it just took a loooong time for the "seed" to germinate.

Heard Cooper a few months ago on a late-night radio interview. He spoke a lot about being a Christian, and how he saw part of his mission being to steer young people away from Satanism.
What an intriguing brother in Christ we have :-)

**Like I said he's welcomed to join the club and be saved but I meant that he won't exactly be able to help us spread the message... they'd just whisper behind his back.. **
I disagree. When we're truly repentant the change in our lives shines to others. That, in itself, is a testimony and example of a new life in Christ. Cooper is able to reach a population of folks many dare not meet up with. God has him in a fruitful place I believe.
In our church there are some formally hardened individuals who now profess and live a glorious life in Christ. No whispers behind their backs. :o)

Anybody know how the new album is? His late 80s/ 90s efforts were disappointing. I was especially not fond of Trash, he'd done an all sex album already and Muscle of Love was better.

I was raised on Alice, and I am SOOOO happy to see that Vince has become a follower of Christ Jesus!
Yes, this is a very good thing. Anyone who feels God pulling at them should do as Alice has: Don't wait another minute! Talk to God. Tell him you believe that he died in your place on the cross to cover your sins forever so that you too can have everlasting life and a relationship with him today. If you believe and say those words, you will be instantly saved right on the spot, or am Emarld Lagassie would say "BAM!" You are saved now, baby!
From that point, get a New Testament, and start to read it from the first page. Youll want to be with other Christians from time to time, so find a church that teaches only what you read in the bible, and adds nothing to it.
Alice Cooper/Vince, I suspect that you read this site. Im ultra happy that youre saved. You're fantastic!
To: JohnHuang2
This is quite plausable. Often those at rock bottom find Him. I suspect this might be true of Alice. Wish he would have elaborated more on what prompted him to turn to the Lord. Alice knows the Christian advarsary is alive, well and grinning from ear to ear with willing new converts to his vile beliefs. You don't have to go too far to see his followers either. Look at some of the answers at FR. Notice how they are self absorbed rather than selfless. The later is the Christian way. To illustrate, the chant of how cares what you do with whatever as long as you don't hurt someone else typically spewed out by LIBERALtarians. A Christian doesn't hold that attitude.

HAHA! I know what you mean! I've seen Alice Cooper several times, and I have to say that he puts on a show, not just plays music, and of all the rock groups I've seen, his was the absolute most professional. A real artist is what I would call him. A great performer on stage. My ears? Well, his performances affected them, but 4 hours on nonstop Led Zeplin nearly killed them once ehen I was about 5 feet from the stage.
To: JohnHuang2
I'm glad for Alice...but this shouldn't be a big surprise.
Its been commonly known for awhile that Alice lived a life quite apart from his stage image.
I was still a youngster when I found out he was one of Bob Hope's favorite golfing buddies, and a pretty good golfer at that.
