Just now, I went up to check the mail and on the way I turned on the radio. I had left it on 700 WLW in Cincinnatti and it was real Art Bell type stuff, total tin foil.
So as I was about to change the station a female caller was on and claimed that in 1986 Congress authorized the involuntary "chipping" (implanting of a microchip) and that no one said a thing about it. She didn't say by who or why and that was it.
I imediately went into LOL! mode when the host (I have no idea who, I usually never listen to 700, but he seemed informed) agreed with her and they discussed some other "Big Brother" books and never again made a refrence to the issue of involuntary chipping.
Now, normally I dismiss this kind of thing as absurd, but the fact that there was total agreement on this and the way it was said.. like "oh yeah, that.. " stated like an undeniable fact made me wonder if there was any truth to this at all.
I have spent time searching Google and I found nothing but this:
Your thoughts?
But nothing on this chipping issue though..
(iccck! I feel unclean! Ewwww!)
Could you expand on that a little for me Annie?
They agreed like she said "Well, the sky is blue" and the host kept commenting about how informed the callers were this evening.
Most of them were pretty informed actually, but this one refrence that they left hanging peaked my interest.
The only solid facts presented were:
1) It was intended to, or could be construed to allow for involuntary "chipping"
2) It was an act of Congress
3) It happened in 1986.
I figure it's just a case of some bad foil, but I also figured that if it wasn't some FReeper already had a handle on it and could explain in detail just what it meant and what the implications are.
It's obviously going to remain in that category till someone comes forward with some information.
I didn't post it to embarrass you or the forum, but you have to admit if it were to be true the implications would be enormous.
That's great..
