What is up with that? Maybe these were Israeli reservists (you know, the ones who don't support the brutality against the Palestinians) who just didn't have the heart to pursue. Either that, or this assassin was a pro, trained at a terrorist camp and awfully good at what he did.

I think that the Palestinian conflict is more of a nationalistic thing.

No way! This is way more than nationalistic! Nationalistic is flag waving and rhetoric. This is pure, unadulterated hatred of a religion and it's people. The pals want to push them into the sea and will do it, if given the chance. This will never end until one or the other is totally defeated and destroyed to the last man, woman and child.

The reality is that there is only one way to deal with the palie problem - and we all know it. The problem is that Israel can't (due to world pressue) act. Or at least, won't act. And so the problem, not unlike a cancer, grows.

Of course, that problem will never affect us. Nope, not us. We're special. Just ignore all those US moslems who celebrated when 911 happened. And don't ask yourself how secure our borders are against terrorists when folks that want to pick melons and bus restaurant tables come across by the tens of thousands. Just keep telling yourself that everything will be fine.
