Instead of PC - Politically Correct Use P McC - Political McCarthyism
The new term can be used much as the commies used McCarthyism. Anytime anyone says anything that is remotely threatening to the cause of World Communism, they immediately label the speaker as a McCarthyite. Not need to explain...everyone knows the debate is over as soon as the accusation is made.
What a great opportunity to turn the tables on the PC crowd. Especially since PC is designed to accomplish exactly the same thing...end debate by excluding any agreement that threatens the PC crowd...namely, liberals, Marxists, communists, i.e., Democrats.
TOPICS: Activism/Chapters; Culture/Society; Political Humor/Cartoons; Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: pc; politicallycorrect
It is 'Spring'....NOW is the time for painting NEW ACTIVISM SIGNS!!

I've been saying for quite awhile that the way the Senate treats conservative judicial nominees is nothing but McCarthyism, in the purest, nastiest way that it was defined by liberals. Just look at any movie made about the Hollywood 10, and watch how Hollywood liberals portray the evil HUAC Senators. They pretend to be so concerned about protecting America as they viciously slander the innocent person seated before them, twisting his words and misrepresenting his beliefs, all as the doubly-evil Roy Cohn sits at their shoulders and whispers into their ears all the dirt, half-truths and innuendo he's dug up to slime them with.
Now, just shift the picture slightly: the trecherous gasbag Senators are now named Byrd, Biden or Leahy, the maligned innocent citizen is Judge Pickering, and the evil Roy Cohn figure who provides the slander ammo is now named Ralph Neas. There's even an equivalent patriotic-sounding name to hide behind: the "House Unamerican Activities Committee" is now "People for the American Way." The only difference is that on occasion, HUAC actually found a real commie.
Wonder when we'll see Hollywood make a movie about the injustice of THIS kind of McCarthyism. Guess they can't afford to because they're too busy funding it.

Just when it was getting safe to be a McCarthyite. Are you suggesting that NOW is basically correct?

Wrong term! McCarthy for all that history paints him as the epitemy of the "True Evil Of Conservatism" was 100% right about Hollywood and our Government being infultrated with Communists. It got out of hand admittedly, but he was mostly vindicated! No This should be named PCBC to perminately label it to the jerkoff who ushered this crap onto our country hasting its exceleration into obilvion!

Here's the deal. We need to introduce buzz words and other techniques that can foil liberal othodoxy. Liberals have always entered such things into the public conscience while their opponents have be pushed into corners.
More people have to learn to respond to liberal claptrap with power terms and phrases that the great unwashed can relate to. PMcC is a good one. Poverty pimp clearly identifies liberal racists. Telling a Clinton should be easy...just a lying scumbag...
