Back in my logging days, we had a few 'sayings', among which were:

'We're here to log, not f*** the dog!'

and 'Drop your c***s and grab your socks, it's daylight in the swamps!'

Different kind of logging, I guess. ;^) (I hope I haven't offended any sensibilities)

LOL, I know my password, I just like knowing I never have to log off. When I shutdown because a storm is coming, I just have to get back on and here I am. Just easier cuz I'm gettin too old to remember all this crap.

On/Off On/Off On/Off

She offered her honor
And he honored her offer
And all night long
He was on her and off her.

sorry

How do you turn off the announcements on the State pages? I've reset it to "not receive" and back to "to receive", but in either case they still appear...

I'm still trying to figure that out..Maybe we post messages in our state forum they will show up on everyones main screen and someone will know the answer LOL!

LOL..... naw... they would want us to hang around and see their chit chat.... I finally went in a changed my state listing to No Listing...... but I'd prefer to fly the flag...

I'm sure John has many more things to worry with than us turning off the state announcements... but I'm gonna flag him anyway..

John how do you turn off the state announcement thing? Doesn't work when I select no announcements.

It may have something to do with your version of Windows. That's just a guess on my part, but at the office I always get the state announcements when I log on in the morning, at least until I have refreshed the page. They eventually go away entirely. I never see them at home, and I have exactly the same preferences selected at FR for each computer. There are some other subtle differences I notice, but the only thing that's different between the two machines is the Windows version.

We have two users sharing this laptop. I am logged in, but the other user who lives here is unable to login. And he wants to update his Freeper Profile.
Any suggestions? I am glad that I am logged in, and I just leave it that way most of the time, since this is MY laptop.
Hear that, other user? It is mine anyway! hahahah "Other user" can just lump it. Butch up! Other user!

School lunch was great at my elementary school, delicious even. Small school, great food, lunch was 25 cents, milk was 3 cents. They tore down that school! A friend saved me a "piece" of it from the rubble, sad! They already tore down my junior high and the main building I had classes in at OSU. Maybe fate is trying to tell me something?
The food at my kids' elem. school when they were little, tasted good - but was so grease-laden that it felt like you had a brick in your stomach the rest of the day.
I guess they didn't want the kiddos to get hungry in the afternoon? Felt like lead in the tummy!

Well that could be the answer I guess, but I never had this problem until the change over this past weekend. I could turn them off in the old system and they never showed on my screen.... No big deal I guess.

There's actually a keyboard shortcut you can use to logoff.

Hold down on the Alt key, then press F4.
