BILL O'REILLY, HOST:In the Personal Story segment tonight, a controversial new book called Harmful to Minors. It comes out in May, and already some Americans are steaming mad, calling the book evil. That's because it says, among other things, that sex is not harmful to children. It is a vehicle for self-knowledge. And that the threat of pedophilia and molestation is exaggerated in America.

Just think. Once upon a time that woman was our surgeon general. One more part of Clinton's legacy.

I couldn't watch this because I know something about the issue. How did this woman ever get to be a Dr.? Its frightening to think of her treating people much less being Surgeon General. She has no idea what she is saying.

ELDERS: And you know, more goes on in regard to sex above the neck, Bill. And we've said this before, than below the naval. Now, don't we have to remember that?

Hello? Jocelyn? What about Bill, your good buddy? Didn't he assert that he "didn't have sex with that woman," and then go on to justify this statement because he didn't think "oral sex" was "sex?"

What an absolute stupid idiot this woman is. Duh .....

You are not asking a rhetorical question to make a point, are you. I too wonder about that. Not easy to make it through medical school. She doesn't seem capable of normal human activities such as driving a car much less being a physician.

To democrat cockroaches like the borderline psychotic Clinton stooge Joycelyn Elders, NAMBLA sex with children is enlightened, but the Boy Scouts must be destroyed.

Just what kind of special interest groups are these DNC vermin pandering to these days anyway?

O'REILLY: "Sexual conduct with a child does not a pedophile make." This author is excusing adult sexual exploitation of children, all right? It's outrageous. And it is irresponsible.

ELDERS: You know, Bill, I feel that you have to read the whole book. And you have to read that in context. You know, it says sexual contact with a child does not a pedophile make.

O'REILLY: That's insane.

ELDERS: That doesn't make the child a pedophile.

O'REILLY: That's insane. Any adult touching a child in a sexual way is a pedophile, period.

ELDERS: You're wrong, period.

Read these six lines and know that I would never let this Elders woman near a child.

"How did this woman ever get to be a Dr.?"

The magic of affirmative action: Some highly qualified caucasian or oriental male did not get into med school to make room for this semi-psychotic moron and loser.

Ask yourself, would ever voluntarily allow yourself or a loved one to receive medical care from Joycelyn Elders.

In comparison, check out Dubya Bush's nomination for Surgeon General. This guy is a green beret, super doc, ultra-macho, exceptionally competent cool dude. That's the difference between Republicans and Democrats in a nutshell. (Or in the case of Elders, a nutcase)

I did a search for Minnie's bio to see where she went to school and couldn't find a thing, but this

The eldest of eight children, Dr. Elders was a college freshman before she made her first visit to a doctor. She was awarded a full scholarship at age 15. Upon graduation at age 18, she entered the U. S. Army as a first lieutenant and received training as a physical therapist. She attended medical school on the G. I. Bill and completed her residency in pediatrics and endocrinology. She also holds a Master's degree in biochemistry.

and that her first name is Minnie.

Ahh, it pays to keep digging

Minnie Joycelyn Elders was born in 1933 in Schaal, Arkansas, the eldest of 8 children. At age 15, when she started attending Philander Smith College in Little Rock on a scholarship, she had never seen a physician in her life. She graduated 3 years later, at an age when most children begin their college careers. She became a U.S. Army first lieutenant in 1952, and then a physical therapist.

The G.I. Bill helped Joycelyn through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). In 1960 she interned at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. After she completed her pediatric residency at UAMS, she got a Master of Science degree in biochemistry from the U of A; in 1976 she joined the UAMS faculty as a professor of pediatrics and in 1978 a certified pediatric endocrinologist. Dr. Elders was Director of the Arkansas Department of Health from 1988-93, after having received that appointment from Bill Clinton.

Just goes to show that, like acceptance of homosexuality, the envelope is being pushed for adult-child sex. Here at Free Republic we've seen the trend for some time. It'll explode on the general public before they know what hits them and by then the media and experts will have them voting to lower the age of consent to 8.

Movies have been engaging in pedophilia for some time... including movies like Blue Lagoon. The key actors are children (less than 18). How long will America stand for the pedophilic attitudes prevalent in Hollywood?

Seeing how the Clintonistas were fueled/fueling Hollywierd, is there any question about the coordination between the two????

Dear Bones:

There is a world of difference between two teenagers, in love for the first time, experimenting with sex and an adult debasing the innocence of a younster or child. It wasn't even 50 years ago that girls over 16 but under 18 could marry (in some states without parental consent).

Despite the free-wheeling attitude of sickos like Elders, I plan on teaching my children to respect their Lord and their bodies, as my mother taught me. Chastity is a virtue that should be held dear; too many friends of mine bought into the lie spewed by Elders and other would-be Clintonites and now live with regrets.

"Joycelyn Elders is at the very top of the "talented tenth" of people of African background. She got an advanced degree. She served in a high governmental position. She very, very intelligent among her peers."

No, she isn't. She has the IQ of a tomato. No, Ms. Elders got where she is because she's black, female, unblinkingly leftist, totally amoral, and is so incredibly stupid, she's quite malleable.

IOW, perfect for someone like Bill (or Hillary) Clinton. Remember..........it was Clinton that "made" her. Tells you a lot, doesn't it?

Dear Writer,

The Blue Lagoon was nothing more than a teenage sex flick designed to encourage sex play among the targetted high school audience who came of age during Reagan's Adminstration. The movie was only one example of the lack of family values in Hollywierd.

We can easily point to other recent films which show underage characters or actors in various scenes which suggest sexual overtones.

With the scandals erupting within the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Catholic Church, and other non-profit organizations, there is little to defend the interests of American families... except our eternal vigilance.
