Compassionate Party is the New Conservatives And we are telling the Liberal Democrats to Get Out

Compassionate Party is the New Conservatives of this New Century

Compassionate Conservatives is the new era. This November the Compassionate Conservatives will win this country. The time has come to take America back from the democrats that do nothing all day but try and chip away at America. They work 24/7 to do this. Sick mental people do this. People that have nothing but their ignorance of America and why they even have freedom to almost bring this country down so they can replace it with socialism.

America is fed up with these do nothing democrat rats, that stand in the way of progress for the economy and helping terrorist, along with their money. The list can go on about their hate for America. And we are telling the Liberal Democrats to Get Out. You will be replaced with Compassionate Conservatives. All that will be left is a small percent of hardcore liberal left democrats. Heck no one will even listen to them Du democrat types. What a grand day is coming this fall. When we win against the democrats. We are telling the Liberal Democrats to Get Out when we vote them all out. Like when we told Gore to get out of that house, we are telling the democrats this year to get out of America.

This election will mark the way for the Compassionate Conservatives to pass the things that will help America and her people and stop the liberal agenda dead in its tracks. Then in 2004 George W. Bush will win in a landslide as a true Compassionate Conservative who was before his time. A true President of Greatness. And then we can bury the liberal democrats leftest agenda.

Liberals think they have a proprietary interest in "compassion" -- they think compassion belongs to them, and hence, "compassionate conservative" is an oxymoron. Unfortunately, many conservatives think so too.

Don't kid yourself.

The election of 2000 was a dead heat. The electorate was split evenly on which path to take. The war has, if anything, strengthened the hand of those who want a greater federal involvement in all areas of life.

The lack of action in Congress on any issue outside the war shows just how gridlocked we are as a nation. Further, there is still no consensus on which direction we should take -- unless it is to ask the federal government to do more, which is the traditional liberal argument. The conundrum is that while people want more government services and governmental guarantees of security, people just don't want to pay for it all.

In the absence of a financial crash or some really bad turn in the war, this fall's election will be a rehash of 2000. No side will be able to land a knockout blow, and nothing will be resolved. The Democrats will control one or both houses of Congress, but no one will have a mandate for a major change in direction.

It's going to be more of the same.

This reminds me of that commercial where a bull and a bear are sitting in a lunch counter. The cow says that Dow will go to 25000 and Nasdaq 8000. Cows in this case are compassionate conservatives.

Why not? They have created a system in which they can use unlimited tax money to fund their schemes. Ending that should be the FIRST priority of conservatives.

We only have 38 republican senators, going to take a lot of burying to scrape up replacements for the RINOs and move out the entrenched dems. If I were you, I would not bet the farm.

Couldn't we elect some regular conservatives that don't want to grow government?

While everyone else is pessimistic, I will commend your optimism.

We need more optimism among conservatives. I know that it's hard to be optimistic when you look at the high taxes, failing schools, increase in government size and growth. But if we sit back and do nothing, sit back and complain without helping to change the face of our country, we deserve what we get.

Compassionate conservative DOES work. Most Americans are God-loving, God-fearing people. They want to help others. Republicans have allowed the Democrats to co-opt the "compassion" issue, as if we all want people to be sick and dying on the streets.

We CAN take back the issue, and inject God into the equation. We CAN and should love our neighbors as ourselves, help those who are in need, and protect our children. If we cover those bases, offering compassionate and wherever possible PRIVATE solutions, we show that we, too, care and we have the more effective ideas.

Sitting around and griping isn't going to get conservatives elected. We need to work for conservatives, sit on our hands for RINOs, and fight against Democrats. And we CAN win. Look at 1994 ... that was only 8 years ago and we swept the nation with our ideas. Eight years is not that long! And we have a great President and leader to help us!

GO conservatives! Get up and fight! Kill pessimism!

This fall we must win it all and the democrats will get out

The day will come when (in the United States) a multitude of people will choose the legislature. Is it possible to doubt what sort of legislature will be chosen? On the one side is a statesman preaching patience, respect for rights, strict observance of public faith. On the other is a demagogue ranting about the tyranny of capitalism and usurers and asking why anybody should be permitted to drink champagne and to ride in a carriage while thousands of honest people are in want of necessaries. Which of the candidates is likely to be preferred by a workman? ... When Society has entered on this downward progress, either civilization or liberty must perish. Either some Caesar or Napoleon will seize the reins of government with strong hand, or your Republic will be as fearfully plundered and laid waste by barbarians in the twentieth century as the Roman Empire in the fifth; with this difference, that the Huns and vandals who ravaged the Roman Empire came from without, and that your Huns and vandals will have been engendered within your country, by your own institutions."
-- Thomas Babington Macaulay, 1857

I, for one, do not subscribe to the idea that "gridlock" is bad. Gridlock keeps the government from acting. Generally, I am in favor of the government doing less. In fact, if all the legislators and bureaucrats would take the next few years off, we would probably all be better off. Close down the Senate (send Tommy home), close down the INS, IRS, etc. Then let the President appoint serious conservative judges and we'll all be happier and better off.

The half-year budged deficit is some $130 billion. Would huger spending and increasing deficits help the compassionates take over the gov't?

Sorry, but when you talk of liberals and compassionate conservatives, it reminds me of an old adage we used in the computer industry when IBM announced a new computer,

Same Sh*t, different box
