What I find extraordinary is that the National Geographic quotes Graham Hancock as an expert without slamming him as per usual. This must have gotten past the "orthodoxy" censors. It is odd that they don't mention the Black Sea flood and the potential discoveries on the bottom of the sea.

FYI: I read recently that the Falun Gong believe that humanity on Earth has been smashed by worldwide cataclysms 81 or 82 times (I can't recall the exact number from their book).

Regarding the Indian finds -- this is simply marvelous and I can't wait to see what comes from this as well as the Cuban site.

Google found this :

Gilgamesh was an historical king of Uruk in Babylonia

6. The Flood. The story of the Flood is a familiar one, as we shall see in Genesis and Popol Vuh (Plato also gives an account of the Flood and the city of Atlantis in the dialogue, Critias ; the Nez Perce of the Palouse also have a flood story in which the only humans that survived did so by climbing the mountain, Yamustus, that is, Steptoe Butte).

Also interesting to think about the mythological gods, how most all seem to have existed in both Roman and Greek mythology Have you ever wondered if maybe such people existed? think about what the possibilities are before the flood.. the nephilim are spoken of in the bible as large powerful people created from demons that forsook their natural place.. the spiritual realm. These mythological stories could just be far fetched truths... you know how things get twisted after a while.. and the stories about these gods are entertaining
