What were the documents doing on a disc in the first place? When was the last time YOU put documents on a disc. E-mail attachments render that practice pretty much unnecessary these days.

In short order, the plain-looking disk without White House markings was discovered in the park by the Senate aide

Good post...

When public relations stunts like virtual 'Amnesty' for illegal invaders, and a game plan to "grow" more "Latinos, suburban women, and union" votes by co-opting traditional Democratic-Leftist values are at the top of the GOP's priority list, something is definitely wrong. And isn't this "strategy" done at the expense of superceding GOP conservative values? I look for an eventual sh!t-hitting-the-fan problem if things remain as obvious now as near the end of Dubya's first term.

If CINO (Conservative-In-Name-Only) chameleon-politics winds up working for Dubya and his handlers, the two-party system essentially in America will be Democrats vs. Democrats Lite....

Oh, and what of Conservatives?? They will be the "fringe" group no one cares to humor.

It DOES address weak Democrats! There was a link last night that showed everything. The article focuses on Smith and Hutchinson, no doubt to embarass the White House, but makes no mention of the Georgia and Missouri races - Cleland and Carnahan - that the GOP thinks are winnable. There were 2 other states with vulnerable Dem senators mentioned, but I can't remember...

In other words - you're right!

What does "dumping" Tim mean? He's the nominee-- like him or not. There's no do-overs.

Especially when one writes for the impartial, objective Newspaper of Record.

Agreed, but what does 'impartial' and 'objective' got to do with the Old Grey Hag?:/

Hutchinson is in trouble that was known months ago when his voters became angry that he dumped his wife for a younger woman and Smith would lose to Shaheen thats why Sunnu is going to win the primary and the election. As for finding valuable campaign strategerys left in a park and found by a park visitor/opposition party member who they trying to fool here... LMAO it was either stolen or handed over.

Didn't Rummy say that 'misinformation campaigns' would be part of the strategy? Maybe he wasn't only referring to our foreign enemies.......

LOL I only look at the Times because we get it as one of our business research publications here at work. I would never subscribe to that rag, nor spend any of my OWN time looking at it.

Sounds like there is a Mole is the house to me

...more likely than "dropped in the park." Do you know anyone who has dropped an important disk, especially in a park? Was the intern also carrying three bags of soft drinks and chips?

It is and I agree, there will be backlash if Bush continues on his present course.

If CINO (Conservative-In-Name-Only) chameleon-politics winds up working for Dubya and his handlers, the two-party system essentially in America will be Democrats vs. Democrats Lite....

Or put another way, Communism vs. Heavy Socialism.

Oh, and what of Conservatives?? They will be the "fringe" group no one cares to humor.

Probably. In fact by that time, conservatism may be outlawed as a politically treasonous ideology to the Greater State. It is staggering how far to the left the 2 party system has moved in the last 35 years. I'm old enough to remember when the idea of legalizing abortion was considered fringe left wing. Now by today's warped, depraved standards the pro-life position is considered fringe right wing. Ditto on affirmative action. May the tide turn again SOON!

In addition, it says, President Bush needs to "grow" his outreach to Latinos, suburban women, Roman Catholics and union members.

Yeah he is doing this by caving to the left Im glad to know me and my fellow "Bush bashers" were right and this is proof.

Did you vote for Bush? If so, the fact that he would reach out to Hispanics was a well known fact long before the primaries. I don't get why you bash him for that. Anyone that didn't know about it or didn't understand that he would act in the immigration area wasn't paying attention. So, my question is why bash him if you voted for him under those circumstances? Now, if you voted for Gore, Nader, H. Browne or Pitchfork Buchanan, then by all means- but no-one's listening...

DEALING WITH STOLEN PROPERTY WILL GET YOU IN JAIL!!! But Dems can boast about commiting crimes, getting away with it and profiteering from it. Aside from that, they're "sinful".

"Conservatism may [in the not too distant future] be outlawed as a politically treasonous ideology to the Greater State. It is staggering how far to the left the 2 party system has moved in the last 35 years."

At the current rate of descent into the abyss of moral relativism, compromised principles, and distorted values, your statements are NO exaggeration.

With pro-abortion CINOs like Mayor Bloomberg and Gov. Pataki of New York now beginning to define the "new" GOP, it's only a matter of the next Presidential election cycle or two when "pro-life" Republicans will be considered too "radical" and "divisive" for the party.

I would like nothing more than for the "tide to turn again soon", but is the genie already out of the bottle?

In addition, it says, President Bush needs to "grow" his outreach to Latinos, suburban women, Roman Catholics and union members.

Could you please outline how a conservative candidate could possibly be elected to office without some degree of support from the aforementioned groups?

Like it or not, focusing only on white Protestant non-union men won't result in a consistent winning strategy.

Now don't get me wrong -- I'm not advocating a total cave-in to the left. Nor do I approve of all of Bush's methods for reaching out to these groups.

But seeking to improve one's standings among these groups, in and of itself, should not be seen as something negative. In fact, it is essential, and some degree of compromise should be expected. As to how it should be done, however... now that is something entirely open to debate.

Use democrat methods vote fraud etc count dead people, bribe bums, start a real right wing conspiracy and take over the media as well as the courts. Its not who vote that counts but who counts the votes. We are not going to win by fighting clean the dems fight dirty and so must we. The amount of people on the dole increases all the time everyone on the dole is a socialist vote bought with taxpayer money. Use any means neccasary to win but don't cave into the left.
