GOTTA SEE THIS - War for Enduring Freedom 8/3/02 Israel, Nablus, Bushehr Reactor, Iraq

Jerusalem, Hebrew University, Nablus, Gaza, Ramallah, Iran,
Bushehr Nuclear Reactor, Izhora plant (St. Petersburg) construction, Iraq, Palestinians and WMD ,opposition to Saddam,
Dinar plunging, DC

======= ISRAEL Jerusalem, ========

In Jerusalem, mourning at Hebrew University, and
Dina Carter's funeral - an American
murdered by terrorists at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem;
terrorists still supported by the Arabist US State Dept. who hypocritcally
now offers a "reward" even as futher appeasement and capitulation is planned.

======= Tel Aviv ========

In Tel Aviv, Benjamin Thomas Blutstein, an American
murdered by terrorists, at Hebrew University.

======= Nablus ========

RESPONSE: TERRORIST ROUNDUP

In Nablus, yesterday through this morning, IDF take terrorists and suspects for interview.
150 armored vehicles were used. 50 terrorists and their supporters were taken
under fire for questioning; with the greatest attempt by the IDF to
minimize collateral damage - even though the terrorists
would kill any American or Israeli in a flash without hesistation..

======= Gaza ========

HIGH DENSITY OF TERRORISTS:
In Gaza, Hamas head-terrorist Ahmed Yassin is guarded by other perps

In Gaza, Hamas terrorists again celebrate the deaths of Americans and Israelis,
specifically the cafeteria terror murders at the Frank Sinatra International Student Center
Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Seven people dead and more than 80 wounded.

Shown below are representative radiographic images ("x-rays")
of some living wounded by terrorists' detonations made with virus-ridden
screws and nails.

======= Ramallah ========

In Ramallah, "General" Chief Terrorist Arafat
and his terrorists await Colin Powell and the US State Dept,
the EU and UN to rescue them again after their endless terror attacks,
against Israelis and Americans.
Ignoring his own atrocities of terror and murder, the terrorist Arafat fabricates
and today called the questioning of
terrorists by the IDF a purported "new massacre".
Terrorists like Arafat know the UN and EU are ready to buy this, or any other antiJewish, propaganda.

======= IRAN ========

WOMEN WHO DARE
In Tehran, Iran, some Iranian schoolgirls wearing headscarves,
but today a few do not. But they are opposed by the fanatical women shown.

In Tehran, Iran, [previously]:

======= Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Reactor ========

(NO) THANKS IVAN.
Iran's Bushehr Nuclear facility, built with the Russians' help.

The Reactor was first made in Russia at the Izhora plant,
then shipped by train from St. Petersburg on November 2001.

======= IRAQ ========

In Iraq, Saddam plans to give the Palestinians WMD including biochemical
weapons now. Click here for info

In Iraq, opposition groups to Saddam.
Iraq ex-chief of staff, General Nizar al-Khazraji,
Jalal Talabani of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan,
Massoud Barzani of the Kurdistan Democratic Party,
and Chalabi.

======= IRAQ ========

Plunging:

In Baghdad, Iraq, the Iraqi dinar is falling against the US dollar.

======= KUWAIT ========

In Kuwait, at the beach in Bneid Al Ghar, Kuwaitis play,
but have forgotten that it was America that freed them, 12 years ago.

======= US SENATE ========

In DC, Joseph Biden runs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Biden has not admitted his conflict-of-interest, in that it appears that he or his office is funding
Peter Zimmerman (previously of the US State Dept)
in the ongoing secret war within the US against US researchers (military and civilian)
who are investigating alternative energy -- as opposed to oil burning.

======= OVAL OFFICE ========

In DC, President George W. Bush entertains Jordan's Abdullah
who was upset that the US still supports democracies in the world, women's complete freedom,
and has even BEGUN the War for Enduring Freedom against terrorists like
his relative in Iraq, Saddam.

It's a Negev 5.56mm LMG made By IMI very similar to the minimi it's now the standard support weapon in the IDF.
The guy's taped a torch to it {a mini maglite} it also has an ITL AIM1/D laser pointer under the barrel.
Hope this is helpful.

Shalom

Very funny. You know I was talking about the rifle. What is it, bipod, drum mag, forward assist, holo sight,etc.

Not a rifle. That's a *Negev* Light machine gun, belt or magazine fed, the Israeli equivalent of the US M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, or F.N. *Minimi*:

IMI Negev - Design & Variants

On the surface the Negev LMG looks suspiciously like a Minimi LMG clone. Inside, the two firearms vary in several technical aspects. All in all, both items are very much alike, both very accurate, reliable and light weighted. Based on the IDF operational experience with both weapons over the years in adverse field conditions, the Negev LMG proved itself to be more reliable in harsh desert conditions then the Minimi LMG. The Negev LMG folding stock is also a big advantage over the Minimi LMG.

Same as its direct competitor - the Minimi LMG - the Negev LMG has two versions:

The standard Negev LMG has a 46 cm barrel, weighs 7.60 kg, and is 102 cm in length when in the retracted stock position, and 78 cm in the stock folded position.

The Negev Commando LMG has a 33 cm barrel, weighs 6.95 kg, and is only 890 cm in length when in the retracted stock position (less then a M16A1/A2 assault rifle), and just 68 cm in the stock folded position.

Apart from their size and weights, the standard and the Commando versions of the Negev LMG also differ in several other technical aspects. The barrel of the standard Negev LMG is equipped with a rail adapter, design especially to mount an ITL AIM1/D IR laser pointer. The ITL AIM1/D extended service in the IDF more then a decade ago, and is still the most common laser pointer in the IDF, and in most IDF units it's the only one used. While being somewhat bulky compare to more modern laser pointers, the AIM1/D is a very rigid and effective piece of equipment. Its vast usage in the IDF inflicted the IMI to fit the standard Negev LMG barrel with an integral special adapter to mount it. The Commando version, however, lacks that adapter.

Most Negev Commandos LMG used in the IDF are also equipped with a forward assault handle, replacing the bipod that is issued with the standard Negev LMG. The handle enables the operator a firm grip while charging, and can also be utilized as a monopod if case call for an additional stationary fire support. Both Negev LMG models can also be equipped with a M1913 Picatinny rail allowing the repeated mounting and removal of optics and another accessories without losing aim. Both models can be fed from either a soft assault drum (with either 200 or 150 rounds capacity) or from a standard Galil or M16 5.56 mm assault rifles' magazine. This feature allows interchangeability with the IDF soldiers' own personal carried 5.56 mm firearms.

The standard Negev LMG is currently issued to regular units, while the Commando version is only issued to few selected SF units. However, even in the SF units the standard version is much more common since the longer barrel enables improved accuracy in long ranges.

The Israeli Military Industries (IMI) Negev 5.56 mm Light Machine Gun (LMG) is Israeli Defense Force (IDF) standard issued LMG in all infantry oriented units, including both special and conventional forces.

Photo Above - an Israeli operator with the Negev LMG fitted with a soft 150 rounds assault drum.

The Negev LMG was developed in the early 1990's, with the IDF operational needs and specifications in mind. It was designed to replace all current LMG used in the IDF on all the relevant platforms - infantry, vehicle, airborne and maritime. Until then the LMG used by the IDF:

FN MAG 58 (M240) 7.62 mm LMG, then the IDF primary LMG

FN Minimi (M249) 5.56 mm LMG, also known by its U.S. Armed Forces designation - the Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), which was issued in small numbers to several IDF SF and infantry units.

Two Soviet made LMG - the PK and the RPD, which were exlsively by SF units.

The final production version of the Negev LMG was introduced in 1995. Several samples entered the IDF for field-testing in 1996, and in 1997 mass issue of the new firearm began.

The interesting ground mount/tripod substitute seems unnecessarily complex and heavy, though. But very portable!

Imagine how the Russians will respond when Israel takes out Iran's nuclear reactor. This is going to get alot uglier before it gets better.

Oh, silly! The Russians will peddle the reactor parts to the Iranians, then sell any needed targeting or intelligence info on it to the US or Israel. Then, after the bombing raid that leaves the Iranian reactor as so much smoking rubble, they'll sell their good customers new replacements. Then repeat as necessary, or until the Iranians finally catch on.

The Russians are not fools, and have been fighting the common enemies in Afghanistan and Chechnya to know where their bread is buttered. And they're not getting their food from Iran....

Fiendish. Demonic. Machiavellian.

Such realpolitik can only be summed up in a single word.

Russian.

"But they are opposed by the fanatical women shown."
They are opposed by the ugly, some even butt-ugly women shown. (For the unattractive females, we have N.O.W., Iran has headscarves.

He looks like he's pondering why he should waste his time on some tin-pot despot from a tin-pot rathole in dirtland.
