In a nutshell, his theory is that heart disease is caused by a Vitamin C deficiency. It sounds incredible, but don't forget, Linus Pauling was awarded the Nobel Prize in chemistry. Read up on his theory at the site.

Other possible triggers include high blood pressure, smoking and lingering low-level infections, such as chronic gum disease.

The best thing I have found for gum disease is CoQ10- 75mg everyday, and no more inflamed gums. Only takes a week or less until the bleeding stops. Also it's suppose to be good for your heart.
