The last presidential election was just a little close, maybe a few hundred points apart. America was equally divided. The years of handouts from the Clinton clan had infected many. Socialism, the intoxicating liquor of the communistic leftwing democratic party had become an addiction to many. A future of dependency was no longer out of the question for large numbers of Americans who voted for Algore.
That was then, but where is America today? Since the last election, the country has suffered a great deal. We've been attacked, the economy has fallen apart as a result of many factors, most out of the control of any president. We've had to go to war, and we are planning another war. All of this is not the fault of the Bush administration, but the left will be able to remind many of the days of wine and huge market increases, and the call will be: "Are You Better Off Today Than You Were When Clinton President?"
Any Freeper knows the real answer here, but the emotional plea will be very hard to resist. So, considering all of this, Where Is America Today?
How confident is our party that come November, we will win? Will it be yet another close call, or will one side win sharp gains over the other? If America votes for the left in hopes of restoring America's economy, we will really suffer a tremendous loss of liberty. Guns will be taken away from Americans based upon some insane justification. Property rights will disappear. Environmental Extremism will march forward, and absolutely huge government will again park tanks in the front yards of "dangerous" Americans.
The choice is yours: Luke warm Conservatism from Texas, or Karl Marxism from Algore/Hillary.
Yet, Where Is America Today?
Marxists see government as the solution to all of lifes problems. Marxism is a religion. Watch for new assualts on free speech, and private property rights.
