I repeat: how do you know that fathers and mothers were not trying to shield their small children from this vile "stunt" 20 feet away?

If they were doing so, they knew about it, and the two would have been caught. If no one knew it was going on, there would have been no reason to shield anyone's eyes.

No harm done if the police are not called in?

Not if they weren't caught. If they left no evidence of their defilement, no one would have ever known. [Other posters are right, of course, and the fact that a radio is inlvoled changes things, but I'm talking about if they just did it alone.]

What about the children who could be expected to see this, when a couple engages in public sex in church for a radio "stunt"?

You're right, if they are caught, they should be arrested.

You wouldn't mind some degenerates screwing in public in church 20 feet from them?

A lot of things happen twenty feet from children of which they are totally unaware.

What kind of biker are you?

Just the regular kind.

Do you know the difference between a biker bar and a church?

Yes, the objects of worship are different.

Would you take your children to a biker bar for a MC club initiation? Why not?

It depends on what was going to happen there.

First of all, I'm a female. Secondly, I think whatever other people do that does not concern me is strictly their business. What I hold sacred is my business. Those people who took part in that stunt will get what the law allows as their punishment. Other than that, it does not concern me. Do I think it was a nice thing to do? No. Do I think it was humorous? Yes. Do I think that what Catholic priests have done is nice OR humorous? No. That is the extent of what I am going to discuss here. If you don't think my original reply was funny, good. I think it was.

Any Creator who gets His jollies trying to persuade mortals to fear Him, gets no respect from me.

Who said anything about a creator doing it to get "jollies"?

And Don and Mike are HOWARD STERN wannabes.

I like Howard Stern, don't get me wrong, but I think Don and Mike are a little more fresh with their comedy, especially Mike's impressions. The main reason I like Don and Mike though is because they take many more callers than Howard Stern does, and they don't even screen the calls. This ALWAYS makes for great radio. Also, they have more "listener participation" in all the games they play for prizes. Simply put, the show really isn't about Don and Mike per se, it's about Don and Mike making fun of/joking with the people, the listeners. I just think this makes for a funnier show; it's all a matter of opinion of course.

I still listen to Howard in the morning though, he's still the best in that time slot.

Some things simply aren't done, and getting laid in a church full of worshippers is one of them. It's the height of indecency, selfishness and disrespect for the sensibilities of other people, whether they were caught in the act or not. The whole point of the idiotic contest was for people to know they did it.

OK. Eagles Up!

Let's morph this thread away from one of complaining and gasping in shock (among ourselves) in an internal circle, into one of proaction and strategy, and find out the Washington, D.C. and New York City contact points and specific laws, and start the wheels of outrage positively in such a way as to heavily fine the sick facilitators, or if possible, to get them removed from the public airwaves of the People of the United States. Let's set an example. People will think twice about these kinds of insults.

I'll check on my side right now and report back. Remember, the culprits are lying low no doubt.

The mind of the enemy: They don't want people to get angry enough to stop talking about it only, and moving to action.

Not a Catholic basher....just an observer and commentator...like you and everybody else on FR. What's the matter? Can't Catholics criticize other Catholics?

Do I think it was a nice thing to do? No. Do I think it was humorous? Yes.

Decades of creeping liberal indoctrination have done their work well.

Okay, according to your argument, we should let all murderers go free because God will punish them?

No, that wouldn't follow according to my argument. My argument applies when no property or persons are damaged or destroyed.

Do you agree that if two people have sex in secret in a church, and no one finds out about it, and they leave no evidence of it, and they don't damage any property doing it, and they go home without getting caught, and no one believes that their sanctuary has been defiled in any way, that God will punish those people?

You give bikers a BAD name.

Do you often judge an entire group of people based upoin what one of them says?

I would be much more forgiving if it were a case of two people overwhelmed with passion for each other (like Heloise and Abelard), but they did it as a stunt, as a joke--like killing someone out of passion compared to killing someone because it's funny--how disgusting.

There is no reasonable expectation of keeping children "totally unaware" when screwing in public in church 20 feet from them.

I hope you never have children, and if you do, I pity them.

I know.

Now, try to imagine two people doing this that were not seen and caught.

Then you'd better find out what your religion teaches, because you're WAY off the track. The first proof of that is that you were listening to such a low-class radio program which is willing to insult YOUR? religion.

Decades of creeping liberal indoctrination have done their work well.

Decades of liberal indoctrination have also seeped into the decision-making at the Vatican and likewise into the behavior of many Catholic administrators.

Worth seeing again, in bold. This sums it up, wimpycat.
