Hey FReepers familiar with Class III land out in Las Vegas! My pops and his misses are going out to Vegas next week and would be thrilled to find any outdoor/indoor Class III firing ranges. Can you help me out here? All I've found so far is http://www.thegunstorelasvegas.com/rental.htm. They do have a decent SMG rental variety, but I'll need to give him some options.

Oh yeah. They plan on going to the Grand Canyon as well as the other(excuse my ignorance) canyon Reese(sp???). It would be rather convenient if they could find ranges along these paths of travel in addition to Vegas itself.

Thanks in advance!

I've been to the GUN STORE....nice place...indoors out of the heat. Good variety of Subguns to shoot. Lots of fun. Close to the strip.

I went to The Gun Store that post #3 refers to. They have an indoor range and you can fire fully automatic 9mm weapons, like the Thompson and H&K. Lots of fun!

Thanks for pinging your BANG list. If I ever figure out how to make a ping list, I'd get alot more accomplished.

FReepmail me if you care to enlighten me on the creation of bang lists, anybody.

I shot all of them.....it was a blast. That week was also Soldier of Fortune Convention. So I got to shoot some REALLY cool stuff there. But go to the Gun Store. The subguns are all 9mm except for the Thompson. Take plenty-o-money. You're gonna need it.

Try Front Sight Weapons Training Facility.

It's a long shot because they are a school not a public range, but they do have machine gun classes there so there is a chance.

Hope that don't preclude inner-city experience! LOL!

Thanks for the heads up. I thought about that, but a school would probably be out of the vacation funding.

Seen some vids. Looks like some real fun!
