I resent what you say,I know many hard working, tax paying blue collar folk that are good americans ,try hard to follow the law,can do work that niether you or I can or will do,but don't have the education to understand law. That does not make them a lesser person, just not as educated.

It's terrible that it happens at all, but still not worthy to even pass along even as sarcasm. I wouldn't wish that situation on any woman.

Oh, another thing - when you end up in jail, this is the first thing you need to do:

Find the biggest guy and kick his ass. Then no one will make you their bitch. And if you know that you are going in - get some ink - Spider web on the elbow and a teardrop under one of your eyes. Learn some gang hand signs too - they might come in handy.

1. Consider life as a fugitive. It could be fun assuming a fake identity and going on the lam - always trying to be one step ahead of the law. And I don't think they will feature you on AMERICA'S MOST WANTED - so see how long you can last as JOHN JONES. Invent the past that you never really had. Hey - maybe take the wife - maybe not. Do you really like her? Yeah - you probably love her - but do you still like her? It could be fun to dump the life you have and assume a new one. Become a logger, or work on an oil rig - think about what you might always have wanted to do but couldn't because of the obligations society placed on you. Maybe even become an alcoholic and get in real bar fights and such.

I have actually considered this.

"I have actually considered this. "

With or without the wife? If you decide with, rent BONNIE & CLYDE and watch it with her and see what she thinks.

All I'm saying is that when you are in court and are the subject of the proceedings of that court, you MIGHT want to kinda stay alert and pay attention.

It's not rocket science. Most blue collar folks understand things like (a) not driving while drunk, (b) not punching out someone at a "friendly keg party," (c) not stuffing goods into your coat pockets at the supermarket (that's why they invented shopping carts, after all), and (d) not lying on official applications.

I resent YOUR remarks. You seem to think that only really educated people can behave themselves.

FoxPro, try this joke on Dear Abby, or on her sister - they occasionally fall for these kinds of fratboy put ons (as does, unfortunately, a lot of my fellow FReepers. Oy!)

At first, I took this guy seriously. Now, I think you're right. This is one fine piece of internet "performance art."

Either that, or he's a total wackjob.

Spider web on the elbow and a teardrop under one of your eyes.

Hey, this is a life and death sit-choo-ation, don't mislead the dude, dude! Spider web? Tells them his skills are rusty! Teardrop? Tells them he's a cry baby!

Wrong move,if they find out he's a fake they will kill him,you know that.Believe it or not, convicts like honesty in a person, genuine honesty. They don't mess with white collar or educated as long as they don't look down on them. Most convicts look up to intelectuals as a matter of fact, especialy if thay talk on the same level, don't ask me how I know.

Let's see...

Drinking and driving is trouble.

Appearing to be a shoplifter is trouble.

Getting arrested and hauled in front of a judge is BIG trouble.

Gosh, that wasn't very hard to figure out!

One more remark,a man is on probation, headed home late at night afterwork, not much open but he sees a sonic in the distance and figures he better eat something before going home.He pulls in,orders a hamburger and while he's waiting for the girl to bring it to him he is arrested for tresspassing by HPD next to the K-Mart shopping center, now he gets his probation revoked and has to spend the next year in jail because an inept cop gave a stupid order, you tell me how smart this is.

My driver's license has now expired, and they will not issue me a new one in my current state of residence (or any other state for that matter).

Screw 'em ! I've been driving around with a learner's permit for 14 years. I flunked the road test once and never went back. Had forgotten all about it 'till just now. LOL! No harm, no foul. :)

Look, this girl had to much to drink, and he was trying to rape her, I tried to get him off of her, and the only way was to get his attention, so I applied some pain.

Maybe I should have just let him rape her. She would have never known.

You are over looking the fact that Foxpro has stated that he went to college and has a high tech job. This is not some poor dumb slob here.

His basic problems seem to be, one he does not appear to think very well on practical matters and he does not pay attention. Nature does not like this in adults. She use to use leopards in trees, now she used police officers. He is pretty old to be learning these kinds of lessons and that is why it is so painful. Sort of like having the chicken pox as an adult.

Foxpro all I can do is repeat some of the advice already given. Get a lawyer and take it like a man. It is going to cost you but you probably will not do any jail time. You did some not-very-bright things in the past. We all do. Now the bill has come due. You have to pay it just like the rest of us.

If he pleads guilty to the trespassing charge, then he's an idiot. Not very smart at all.

Maybe in your world, you are a victim. In the real world, you're a volunteer.

Every business has its insider's cliques.

I'd be shocked if the police business did not.

All the more argument for only involving the State in actual Violent Crimes and such-like.
